Regretfully, I am one of those Christians who went his own way to "get a career". It was during this time that I lost my way from God and fell into sin. He has mercifully brought be back into the fold recently, and through teachings such as this video, Jehovah is restoring me. Thank you for this teaching, Pastor Paul

I’ll chime in on this! It takes Pastor Paul roughly 10 years to study through the Bible at Calvary, chapter by chapter verse by verse. All his videos/audio is on the Calvary website EVERY BOOK! I’ve almost finished studying through the whole Bible with Pastor Paul, it’s taken me 3yrs and once I’m done, I will be starting again-his teachings are amazing, funny, well planned with historical facts about the Biblical era always pointing to our good Lord Jesus 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

Second time reading this Chapter as a new Christian and it truly humbled me the second time because there isn't much in my heart that could ever imagine knowing what the Holy Spirit shares here. We all need to know this book because it is of God and not of man. And when our heart breaks God comes rushing in. Be glad in your humility and brokenness because you will appreciate Christ love that much more and recognize not one is righteous and therefore we truly need to love one another that much more. Thank you God for your abundant mercy I pray I can serve others in even a fraction of the love that you have served to me. And I can because you are always with me. I love you. God bless you all abundantly in more grace and more peace and more joy♥️

How awesome it is to know you are still teaching. I finished reading the entire bible last year in July and started my chapter and verse studies immediately. The Almighty God knew how much I wanted to know his word and apply it to my life, so I found your videos. I am currently in the book of 1 Kings from your old videos. I just thought you were so blessed to have the understanding of the word of God which is something I seek. While I was sitting here studying, I was just wondering if you were still teaching and by my surprise here you are. Blessings to you as well as your family and all others that are helping on this platform. Please continue to allow him to use you!

James was a book I could not read as a Christian hard hitting. Under pain doctors hard drugs I didn't want to stop those same drugs that were to heal became a crutch. Only in Christ Jesus can anyone give thanks for an overdose. Alive since December 19 2018 ☝️

Thank you Pastor Paul. We doing our Bible study on James now and this is so, so helpful. Taking me into the different verses putting understanding to what is been said. Thank you so much for your teaching so faithful to God's word and the love for Him. Yes we are weak and need to always remember the price that has been paid for us on the cross. Life is not about ourselves it's living for God. Blessings to you and your family. 🙏

Pastor, thank you. I also find your facial expressions hilarious, and your humor mixed in with sound teaching just wonderful 😄... I also wanted to make you aware I noticed that the volume is not as high on your newer videos as it was with your older videos. Not super significant but I can definitely tell the difference. I am able to increase the volume higher in the older videos and hear your teaching through the noise of my house chores while listening. Not sure if it can be changed, if no its not a big deal. Thank you!

If you read Romans 6, 7 and 8 in one sitting, see if you might discern if Paul in that very passage is speaking of a man who’s not in Christ and who hasn’t been born a new creation and partaker of God’s nature through the Holy Spirit. I hope you at least can agree that each chapter offers a very different suggestion of how we should view and conduct ourselves (or I’d say 6 and 8 are in agreement and Romans 7 presents a man who doesn’t know the gospel)

The devil was already defeated at the cross. So why can he still cause sufferings to the world. Jesus already put the devil inder our feet. Why does the Bible and the pastors still talk about the devil, giving him power? Thank you.

We never hear of the return of Demas.

Demas most likely a brother who was saved but also struggled with the temptations of this world, he hadn’t fully crucified his flesh and thus left Paul in that instance. It might be he was a young believer and there were weeds/thistles that was quenching the word in his life. There’s no need to make conclusions he also abandoned the Lord. Many Christians don’t bear much fruit because of similar reasons.
