Not agreeing with LGBT does not mean you can't love them and teach them the word of God as we preach and teach to Liars, Adulterers, Fornicators; so No I donot owe anyone that practice sin an apology but I will love them and pray for their salvation. Who are you to judge anyone? Do you think people who are LGBT can't love the lord? That shows your ignorance. Maybe if you actually got to know people who are LGBT, you would know we are just like everyone else. The only difference is we are attracted to the same sex. Just because someone is living as they truly were created doesn't mean something is morally or spiritually wrong with them. Did you ever sit and think that maybe the lord created LGBT people to test how true Christians would react to them? Life (even the bible) isn't black or white, there are shades of gray.

I think people don’t get it. The Bible does not condemn people who are attracted to the same sex. The Bible condemns the act of homosexuality. I don’t believe people who are attracted to the same sex are going to hell because of an attraction they didn’t ask for. But we don’t have the right to approve or promote a lifestyle that God doesn’t approve.

Romans 3:23 says " for ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God" you are not in a position to judge anyone else nor is he and that is exactly what he meant. We are imperfect beings and we all make mistakes and that includes lifestyle choices. It's always Hippocrates that speak the loudest. But we all know that a hit dog will holler. You don't have to read the Bible every day to know what it says about homosexuality. Reading the bible every day doesn't make you right with God, faith and obedience to Christ does. Also, the last guy talking about mixed fabric and eating shellfish is repeating that same old bad talking point. The Old Testament is about the nation of Israel. The Law for them was divided into Moral, Ceremonial, and Civil. Ceremonial was specific for Israel. It is what made Jews, Jews circumcision for instance. That very topic comes up in the Bible and it is explained. It's In the book of Acts 15, all of it. Paul talks about keeping the Jewish ceremonial practice of circumcision in Galatians. Christ is the completion of the Law for us. Neither Jews nor Gentiles are required to eat certain foods. The moral stands. That is why it's talked about in the Old and New Testaments. People who bring up dress and food haven't read the Bible or just repeating what they heard.

That was the Old Testament before the convenant with the holy trinity that’s why after Jesus death when he told Peter to eat He told Peter to bless his food because nothing I bless is cursed or something like that and the New Testament I think in Revelation and Corinthians he say what type of sin will cast you to hell or in better words Will not inherit the kingdom of God. Jamal was right to apologize to the LGBTQIA community,the ones mad at him apologizing are the same ones who refuse to take accountability. My cousin was gay and committed suicide back in 1997 because my Bible thumping family judged and tortured him for being gay. Even one of my cousins beat him up and they rewarded him for it and 3 weeks later my cousin jumped to his death from a building in Chicago. My mom, brothers and I stop associating ourselves with that side of the family and then hateful people didn't even come to his funeral, not even his mom.

I am sooo sorry you went through that; however, if he was saved and knew JESUS, he is in Heaven no matter what that other side of the family belives. Quiet as it's kept, being gay does not mean hell. Not accepting the Gift of Salvation from JESUS death means hell and you can be straight as a puritanical ruler but decide to say no to JESUS. To this day, they are excellent co-parents. Gizelle never raised those children alone. Gizelle net worth is 4 million dollars. As a matter of fact, Gizelle makes more money than Pastor Bryant. However, they are living well, and their children enjoy life to the fullest.

Just a thought; Jesus is Holy and should Never be compared to humanity....we all fall short but should never condone any Sin as Sin leads to death and consequences that affect many..... Mr Jamal represents hollyweird and shouldn't be taken as a guideline; therefore ppl should be under sound doctrine while also reading the Word for themselves as when we do so we dont change Gods Almighty Word....just like a parent who lived a certain life, it would be foolish for that parent to say go ahead and do what I do because i dont want to judge, we all judge and that judgement keeps us from repeating destructive behaviors

I definitely believe in the word of God says we are to love one another; he will divide the wheat from the tares. He also says don’t be fooled in the last days man will say Lord, Lord, and their heart will be faraway from him. A wolf in sheep's clothing. Lastly, his word says many are called but few are chosen. I’m reminiscing of when Jesus was so mad as to what the church had become that he turned over the offering tables. Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed, history repeating itself. God was not pleased, the angles blinded the homosexuals. God inspired the Bible for us to live by. This is the day that right is wrong and wrong is right. And everyone is going to answer to the Lord for their deeds.

If I had to guess, it would be an apology for how they are treated. While the Bible is specific about homosexual activity, it is also specific on how we as people are supposed to treat one another. Without knowing the full conversation, I would hope he is apologizing for the way people are being treated and not for what is written in the Bible.

@@kickrocksplezethank you for this comment. As someone who attract after the same sex, I understand the word of GOD makes it clear that it is a sin. What I do in the meantime is resist the temptation to indulge in my sin. But from the outside looking, I’m still judged. For a long time, I didn’t realize how feminine I looked too the r people, but little did they know that I had never had sex with a gay man. I don’t go around telling people I’m gay. But it’s the people inside the church that have judged me the most.

I honestly believe the LGBTQ community can easily be saved while still in sin, but at some point, just like everyone else they have to repent, turn away, and love Jesus like He loves them.

The churches that are built are the community pillow where people can come and connect with the Lord , now it has came to a point where a lot of churches are in it for the money and the manipulation. You’re right; no one has the right to devalue anyone because we are all made in the image of God. Frankly, the biggest issue within the church isn’t the lgbtq community, it’s the other sexual sins putting a stain on the Church (p3dos, p@rn, and adulterers). Sin is still sin though gay or straight. Let’s be real though, if the Church can’t call out men loving men, you can’t call out men loving money. The Bible speaks against it all.

I don’t know if it’s genuine but it’s needed necessary and on point. God made us ALL. Disagree with the sin not the sinner if it’s viewed as a sin. Let go let live and let God

Romans 1:26-27 , Romans 1:32 , 1 Timothy 1: 8-11 , Corinthians 6: 9-10 , Jude 1 :7 , Mark 10: 6-9. The argument that it isn’t in the Bible , or that the Bible only condemns homosexuality in the Old Testament is false. The Bible condemns homosexuality as an abomination. Abomination is worse than sin. Of course homosexuals should be in church repenting but for Jamal Bryant to go to a church that has a pastor with a husband , is out of order. As much as I like Jamal , he should have been sat down as a pastor years ago. He is showing that he would rather ignore the Bible than Represent what’s in it as a pastor. That is sad. May God have mercy on him for misleading people.

And because this has been occuring in the churches as he said " they have been allowed by men to serve in the church when God said its a sin and abomination explains why the church is a wreck. Anything with two heads is a monster. Can't serve God and do what the devil says.

If you’re a real Christian, you would leave it up to God to judge the LGBTQ+ community- he doesn’t need us to judge anyone. This was great, especially for Black LGBTQ+ folks who love the Lord and church and have been hurt so much by the people of the church.

Heaven and Hell are always taking in new members. So how YOU choose to live your life is truly up to you. Just know many of us will be sitting in hell because we have convinced ourselves and others something was right when in fact it was actually WRONG. "Striaght people made the homosexuals" that is sooooo true!! Adam and Eve are straight people but when they sinned it placed the world into a fallen state. I know the hostess said she only knew a little bit of the bible but maybe some of the little bit is the fact that we are "made and grafted in sin" which makes all of us assessible to sin. and all of those sins that she named as those no one is paying attention...? God is paying attention! A sin is a sin is a sin. Whether it be adultery, lying, stealing, fornicating, or homosexuality. ALL HAVE SIN and COME SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD!!!!!!!! The only difference is for those who have repented of their sins which a lot of people dont want to do but if you asked the Lord to come into your heart and be Lord over your life, HE WILL DO IT!! oh and by the way, judging is NOT a sin. Where in the scriptures does God affirm same sex anything?? I would urge everyone watch Geno Jennings debate a gay minister. Very enlightening.

If I view same sex as a sin, then I need to repent or at least seek spiritual help to repent. But the LGBTQ+ community does not view this as a sin, some even getting married to make sin permanent. We can't treat same sex with kid gloves. We must rebuke them with the intention of leading them out of sin and into the light of God.

For all have sinned and fallen short... We all need to repent and strive to sin less. Having a sin lifestyle is where the problem lies.

A sin is a sin and all of them are equal. Do what you want, I don’t have to like it.

I have a nephew that transitioned and I still love him no matter what.. My Pastor is JHB and I’m glad he’s man enough to apologize to the community. I never judge gay people . We all have to ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️each other. That what’s wrong with some people in the house of God they so quick to judge when they need to look in their own closet.

The black church was extremely hard on sin but loved the sinner. Could it have been somewhat more caring to the individual without comprising the sin yes but early history was hard on everyone period. Folks gonna do what they want to do no matter what the scriptures say. An angel can come from heaven and tell folks they doing wrong, they still won't listen. Folks want a feel good Gospel. That won't work either. The Messiah already showed his love for humanity by his death burial and resurrection. Our job is to repent be baptized, believe and follow Yeshua's ways.
