Jallianwala Bagh massacre: Why a 'deep regret' by Theresa May is simply not enough

On the 100th anniversary of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, UK Prime Minister Theresa May had described it as a "shameful scar" on British Indian history but stopped short of a formal apology sought by a cross-section of Parliament in previous debates. In a statement, she reiterated the "regret" already expressed by the British Government. The massacre took place at Jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar during the Baisakhi festival in April 1919 when the British Indian Army under the command of Colonel Reginald Dyer opened fire at a crowd staging a pro-independence demonstration, leaving scores dead.
103 years have gone by since the incident.

Indian media shows this to gain sympathy votes for Moti. May is remembering this for post brexit slaying on India. While the sikhs are happy working for British army forgetting Bhagat Singh.
