Coming from an unglamorous sport myself with grueling training and no opportunities for fame or fortune, i vibe so hard with doing it for brotherhood and love of the craft. You guys embody the same spirit that makes our great State contribute the most Winter Olympians of any State or Province in the world!!! John is one of my favorite players, all time - when I was growing up in NYC. He was a mean, nasty piece of work, going for steals, fighting over screens, popping his jersey, kissing the floor Knicks' logo, mouthing off at opponents. He was pure passion and hunger for victory.

John got his years mixed up. The 8 points in 16 seconds or whatever happened in 1995 and the Knicks actually ended up losing that series. That was the series Patrick Ewing missed a layup in game 7. When John missed the layup and Patrick followed up the miss with the put-back dunk, that was in 1994 when they went to the finals.
