Jalen Brunson’s last 4 games against the Sixers: 45 minutes, 39 points, 13 assists, 13/27 FG, 10/12 FT 44 minutes, 47 points, 10 assists, 18/34 FG, 9/11 FT 51 minutes, 40 points, 6 assists, 15/32 FG, 6/9 FT 41 minutes, 41 points, 12 assists, 13/27 FG, 12/16 FT The only other active player in the league with anything like this on their playoff resume is Jamal Murray. But Murray is both 5 inches taller than Brunson and was playing in the Orlando pandemic bubble against one of the worst perimeter defenses of the last 15 years, while playing with an already MVP candidate level player in Jokic. Brunson just did that to a team specifically built to guard HIM, without his second scorer playing in the series, playing home games in MSG and road games in PHILADELPHIA. THIS. IS. INSANE.

What I love about Brunson's game is he doesn't need those "lean in fouls" that all these other soft players need, to get to the free throw line 15 times a night. He does it the hard way, through his skill, running into the lane and challenging any and everyone. He is old school for real. I like this team, they remind me of 80-90s basketball. Stars that wanted to win and took it personal. These Knicks show a lot of grit, so even if they don't get to the Finals or win it all, I won't be mad because whoever beats them, earned it.

I know this is a Brunson video, but the 76ers need to cut ties with Embiid. While he did have a decent series, as a high end scorer, he pretty much disappeared in the 4th. He was tired, he looks "weighty" and honestly every time he drove to the rim I was holding my breath that he didn't accidentally injured one of the Knicks on his way to injuring himself. For a big man he is soft and doesn't really hustle. Trade him to a lottery team and garner a lot of picks that would help the 76ers fill some needed gaps, mainly the bench. They have a lot of starters that shouldn't be starting. Anyways, Brunson is nice.
