I have travelled in forests about 30 years back.... It is so unfortunate and sad that only a shred of the forest is left... I believe very soon some promoters will build flats in Jaldapara and our beloved forests will be a history...

Thanks for sharing your feedback. * If you book online ticket, still you need to pay other chargers (Vehicle, Guide charges etc.) at booking counter of Eco Tourism Range. There, you have to submit a valid ID proof. They will give you the final receipt. * Once you have the final receipt, your safari is confirmed. Then you can reach to the safari starting point (in front of booking counter), even before 10 minutes of scheduled time. You need to show the final receipt to get the jeep and the guide. * I'll suggest to pay and prepare the final receipt - before 1 day of the safari. Usually it takes 30 mins to get the receipt from the booking counter. If you are staying in any hotel, they will help you to arrange everything. For more information, call - Jaldapara Wildlife Division: 73189-33347 * During safari, no other documents are required except the final receipt. * List of the valid ID proofs has been given in the video at 14:04.

Very beautiful & useful ! It is understood that starting from Madarihat gate, but where it ends? Dropping point hopefully the starting point i.e. Madarihat gate, is not it? Also, if the return journey via same route? plz confirm.

Thanks a lot for watching the video. Yes, you are right, both the starting and ending points are same - Eco Tourism Range (beside Jaldapara Tourist Lodge). Complete route is: Eco Tourism Range (beside Jaldapara Tourist Lodge) - Jaldapara National Park (main entrance) - Hollong Tourist Lodge - Harindanga Watch Tower - Salkumar Gate - Jaldapara Watch Tower. And return through the same way...

Is it mandatory to report 1day before for madarihat jeep safari? Or it will be ok if we report on same day

You can report same day also, but before the schedule time. If you booked online, its not enough. It's only reservation. You have to pay all the charges at booking counter, and they will provide the original ticket. Sometime it takes time at the booking counter because of the crowd. It's recommended to reach the counter at least 1-2 hours before the schedule.
