Very nicely explained. Actually Jharkhand has the potential to become one of the most prosperous state of India but somehow or the other it couldn't get that status. The whole Chota Nagpur belt is rich in iron ore and obviously coal without which many of the big industrial houses of India cannot function.

I was born and brought up in dhanbad . It's indeed the place where you find black diamond (coal).open cast and underground mining are the main occupations. My father used to work in TATA Steel . I have seen almost all the underground mines owned by TATA but unfortunately they are almost on the verge of being shut down by the company because of huge losses. The city is so rich in coal and iron ore that a big fraction of coal is even exported abroad. I visited Dhanbad last week and felt heart broken when I saw collieries shutting down by TATA. It's still the richest city when it comes to raw materials. I love the city, Dhanbad. ❤️

Thanks Satya for this video we left Chandrapura in 1991 when this route was not electrified and a train called DC use to run between Bokaro to Dhanbad by Steam Engine, and still the coal fields are still burning.

I am from Chandrapura -- You have caputed a nice point and shown a wonderful video. The Chandrapura to Dhanbad line was shut down for some time. It was reopened again .. indeed a dangerous move by Indian railway. Coalmine is everywhere between Chandrapura to Dhanbad route.
