This is the absolute best example of WCS lead and follow I have ever seen, hands down!! Anyone who is interested in how two people who do not save a routine set, can be put together and give a great performance, this is how. She has gone nowhere he has not led her. No force used no hesitation, and no ambivalence. Every move she made was because he led her to do nothing else. Pure perfection here, nothing less.

Cette fluidité... on dirait de la "danse moderne". Une aproche du west coast swing fantastic qu'on ne veut que voir cela.

I think it’s still essentially a slot dance, it”s just more fluid as opposed to being singular in direction like it used to be.

They are just stunning in there flow together. Would have loved to see in the video more of there beautiful flow and footwork they do from distance , but the filming was often to close to them, so it cut the legs of.

Thanks for your honest feedback, They are awesome sure ! I understand what you mean, but that's the way i love to film and creating vidéos. I've chosen to not have all the time the feets. For me faces and eyes tells more about connection and I love to be closer and give to the people a feeling they are dancing with them watching the vidéo. It's just another artistic point of view :) I was dancing with us when I was filming :) I understand that people can prefer to watch fix ordinary video to appreciate all the footworks it's better sure, and there is a lot of youtube channels that have great content of that i think. Here i try to make people dance with us :) that's just an non conventional way to film in WCS, I know it, it's an artistic choice, I assume it. But thank you for you feedback again 🙏

@@GeoffreyBlackProduction thank you for sharing your way of art, this makes total sense, because this emotional feeling of them being in the flow an the expression in there faces you caught definitely beautifully. 💞 And the dancing"with them" is a whole nother point of view. All the best

On the other hand, they aren’t doing anything special with their feet. Once you work out the movement there is only your feet in the correct place. I personally find the videography stunning.

@@eswing2153their feet seem to float over the floor, it is magical to see! That being said, I was so mesmerized by the connecting these two have and their hand and arm moves I did not even think about missing their feet!!!! Absolutely delicious! ❤

I am completely new to this type of dance. I can't figure out the root of these movements, but they are mesmerizing. This woman is EXTRAORDINARY!!!! What's with the loose clothing and strange shoes? (I know, what banal queries) Emeline is so fluid and loose and divine! But her partner seems like such an afterthought. I realize this is someone with NO clue about this aesthetic! I would appreciate any guidance.

It's West Coast Swing on a different level. Funny you mention her partner, he actually is the lead and creative force between them. If you watch their partnership they are both amazing and fluid and work off of each other, but he is the one who creates the flow.

Did you do the Klzomba Remix? If so is much better than the original. The Klzomba Remix fit Jakub & Emeline so well it is one of their top two routines.

No doubt they are wonderful dancers he is an amazing leader, she is an amazing follower. But West Coast Swing is a slot dance and I don't understand why people are changing it from what it originally is and what it should be and should stay that way. This should be called something else or West Coast Swing inspired but it simply is not West Coast Swing..... but this couple, they're amazing dancers!

As if dance forms are some kind of deeply rooted and immutable fact about the universe 😅 Or, subscribing to that mentality, one could say: Swing is a high energy rhythmic vernacular dance done to big band music. People should stop doing west coast swing as that changes it from what it originally was I agree this looks nothing like any form of swing, btw, and is definitely in the fusion camp. Latin music and body movement mixed with blues open-form connection mixed with tango volcada/colgada technique mixed with WCS turns. It's a beautiful blend.
