Jake may have pass the torch to Austin at King of the Ring 1996. Imagine two years later in 98 during Austin rise and peak as champion in the Attitude Era. Jake takes a short hiatus to be sober and healthy enough. Making a shocking return on Raw is War in his darkside persona building a epic and intense rivalry against Austin. Both anticipated promos/segment and build up Match for the Ages. Two legends...Two different Era's, however who is the true "Snake in the Grass". Austin VS. Roberts ll and lll one of the Greatest Trilogy's in both WWE/F and most important rivalries in Professional Wrestling history.

I love Bret, but Jake arguably did more for Austins career than Bret by being the inspiration for "Austin 316" at KOTR 96 imho

Jack couldve played a big part in WCW but he was in the wrong frame of mind like it couldve helped if Jack was the black scropin

Ringmaster wasn't so bad. It was bland but besides being the MD champ, it wasn't really a gimmick as much as a title. Easier to morph away from than say..Chilly McFreeze.

Instead of the beer truck he would have came down in an ice cream truck and started chucking ice cream cones at Vince.

Austin's best work was in WCW. From a wrestling standpoint anyway
