Jake, this is so clear. I can see the separation between the stick and the rope. I can see you walking with your belly button at the cone, and then standing, outside the pattern. Handling the excess rope and letting the horse figure out the pattern until they relax, maintain gait, and maintain direction and spacing. It is so neat to see the horse doing the work and truly figuring it out. I know Monkey knows all this stuff and now I can see how to show him what I want, and allow him to show me that he knows it. Thank you so much Jake, you have a magic of making things so clear!! I cant wait for the sun to come out... This lesson provides so much help for so very many things..... I look foward to doing less work myself and enjoying just how smart my horse is.
