I feel like Geordie is a person that Jake feels comfortable speaking to as he does not have an urge to stroke his own ego so much. @@jmoney4220 it’ll never happen... who would ever sanction that? Askren is a retired wrestler with an artificial hip. Conor is an active competitor who’s still easily a top 10 LW. The other key thing is that the rules they’d be fighting under are a form of striking and Conor is primarily a striker so it isn’t as big a stretch. Saying ‘Jake is good’ is like telling someone they sounded great at karaoke - doesn’t mean they’re one of the best recording artists in the world. There are levels to these things. Askren isn’t a boxer, he isn’t even a striker. He’s got less of his own hips than my 90yo granny - but there’s no way that Jake Paul is knocking him out in two rounds or less, as he claims.

He handled that changing trainers question very well

I love the honesty/humility you use geordie when trying to navigate Jake's subcommunication in this. You really opened him up with your honesty and he appreciated you a lot more for it in the end - Its rare to see such a wholesome conversation online where people can talk directly. My suspicion is that you're applying what you learnt from the Ricky Gervais podcast (when Ricky explains how he attributes his comedy to extreme honesty and authenticity.This niche that you have discovered will take you far I reckon and the world needs more of it!

True geordie is the only interviewer i have seen that has been able to actually sit down and have a good level conversation and interview with Jake. Top top level interview !

Jake came across quite well in this interview, says alot for Bry’s conversational technique bringing out another side of him, especially over the internet. Big up Geordie shout out Laurence

i think he just plays the villain cus the hate steamrolled out of control when he was younger and he couldn’t shake it. a similar thing happened to Justin Bieber, except he was able to regain some ground by NOT playing the villain. if u look into it enough, u’ll see the people who know him off camera such as geordie actually like the guy, i trust their judgment. jake might not be the smartest dude ever but he’s certainly a hard worker and he plays the villain as more of a business thing. his brother does the opposite. plus i believe he does a ton of work with make a wish and gives back to the community so that already makes him a better dude then everyone assumes.

You explained the Woodley vs Jake Fight perfectly and I hope people will get a better idea of how they should be treating this fight and these fighters because you literally couldn't have explained it any better!!!! Respect to geordie for showing jake respect and making him feel comfortable, it was just like two good friends speaking, love the respect you two have for each other.

This is a really good interview... like the video guys so more ppl can see this. Jake seems really down to earth here.

Camera view was decent, jake must of also had another camera set up to show him self as well as the laptop camera, took this podcast interview seriously, and you gota respect that to!

Always believed in JP but this hits different to revisit after the fight. He’s so in control.

I am a huge KSI fan, but I gotta be honest, really enjoyed the podcast and I believe jake when he talks about the fight and his boxing.

Not the biggest fan of Jake but you've really gotta admire his confidence stepping in the ring with a fully fledged MMA fighter! After he knocked out Nate Robinson, I think Jake stands a good chance

Actually now that I think about it, I guess it's pretty smart for him to act the way he does because he brings more attention to himself and sells the fights better. He probably wouldn't be where he's at in boxing if he acted this way all the time. People would get bored and not care about wanting to see him get knocked out lol

I think this shows a lot of what Jake Paul does is for the hype. I think he portrays himself as an unlikeable, sensationalist guy because it's what gets people talking. Now he's stuck in between having to do that for his audience but also wanting to show people he has matured. He seems a decent guy when he wants to be
