    I feel like Geordie is a person that Jake feels comfortable speaking to as he does not have an urge to stroke his own ego so much. Compared to his cocky over the top act that he demonstrates on camera, this conversation shows a lot of gratitude and humility. Great job Geordie with the interview and fair play to Jake !

    Agreed. Some parts of this he’s being a bit delusional, but no doubt he’s speaking more maturely in this one. Good on him, people like to just hate on him, but I’m personally not one to just continue on hating with no logic behind it. He’s hopefully changing into a more mature person, and it’s good to see.

    Or fight the hundreds of other boxers in the world. Jake doesn't have to fight Garcia next.... Garcia has only fought a few good boxers in his 20 KOs. Mayweather has more than a dozen early easy fights. This is why we use the term Journey man in boxing. Jake's built-up hype and now he just journey

    @@jmoney4220 it’ll never happen... who would ever sanction that? Askren is a retired wrestler with an artificial hip. Conor is an active competitor who’s still easily a top 10 LW. The other key thing is that the rules they’d be fighting under are a form of striking and Conor is primarily a striker so it isn’t as big a stretch. Saying ‘Jake is good’ is like telling someone they sounded great at karaoke - doesn’t mean they’re one of the best recording artists in the world. There are levels to these things. Askren isn’t a boxer, he isn’t even a striker. He’s got less of his own hips than my 90yo granny - but there’s no way that Jake Paul is knocking him out in two rounds or less, as he claims.

    I love the honesty/humility you use geordie when trying to navigate Jake's subcommunication in this. You really opened him up with your honesty and he appreciated you a lot more for it in the end - Its rare to see such a wholesome conversation online where people can talk directly. My suspicion is that you're applying what you learnt from the Ricky Gervais podcast (when Ricky explains how he attributes his comedy to extreme honesty and authenticity.This niche that you have discovered will take you far I reckon and the world needs more of it!

    Actually hes just going for big paydayswhole enjoying the sport. Problem is he is going too fast so he will inevitably get his dream fight in mcgregor or nate diaz. He will inevitably get his ass kicked, but well done in seizing an oppurtunity to make a lot of money. When he gets his ass kicked against a floyd or nate or mcgregor its still mission accomplished. That payday for Jake will be massive.

    i think he just plays the villain cus the hate steamrolled out of control when he was younger and he couldn’t shake it. a similar thing happened to Justin Bieber, except he was able to regain some ground by NOT playing the villain. if u look into it enough, u’ll see the people who know him off camera such as geordie actually like the guy, i trust their judgment. jake might not be the smartest dude ever but he’s certainly a hard worker and he plays the villain as more of a business thing. his brother does the opposite. plus i believe he does a ton of work with make a wish and gives back to the community so that already makes him a better dude then everyone assumes.
