"I just wanna fuckin' breathe" Relate to this in so many ways. Dealing with shit is hard, and parents dont know it. You know they are supposed to be there for you, but they never really seem to care that you are dealing with more than they see. They are always saying "get good grades", "stay away from those kids", "always try your best. Well, let me say this, "good grade" are hard to get when you struggle to keep track of things when you are constantly going between two houses. "Those kids" are in all of my classes, how am i supposed to stay away? They are like mosquitos, they are there, but they are hard to avoid getting bit by. Even if you never talk to them they still find a way to affect you. "My best" is what you are constantly seeing, it may only seem as if i am hardly doing anything, but that's because i am dealing with more shit than you see. When you have college classes, a shitty school, an orchestra to be committed to, and family to care for, everything gets difficult to balance. I hardly get breaks, not even weekends are empty. If im not busy, they call me lazy. If im always busy, they ignore me and dont care when i get an accomplishment. I start thinking more of how to avoid my problems than thinking of how to get through them. You never taught me that, but you expect me to know...

I played this song while I was laying in the dark crying..I had took 5 handfuls of pills in November of 2018 I was rushed to the hospital that night and was on life support I'm 15 (almost 16) now and I've went to many mental health hospitals one I stayed in for the whole year of 2019 I'm doing better now but I still feel sad and lonely I have a boyfriend and I love him he's helping me without him knowing that Things do get better you just have to work hard for the better days

Mics aren't too important nowadays, but he uses a Shure SM7B, which is a decently priced mic, not ideal for a beginner unless you got shit tons of money. You could probably accomplish the basically same with a Shure SM57 with a pop filter and a little more detailed mixing and mastering :)
