I'd forgotten about the animation this is a prequel to, but damn this is incredible and brings it right back to mind. The quality of animation, the feelings the horrendous experiences depicted bring, the music choice - all so good.

WHOA. this animation meme is absolutely GORGEOUS and I love how you do visual storytelling!!! The story was super easy to follow, and very entertaining! Some of the scenes that stood out to me were the one with the bloody heart, the main character growing out of the ground, and the one with the fingers pointing at the main character! Beautiful job with this ^^

You can see the same sign at 0:25. This is not the rune of Osel, but it has a similar element. And although at 1:43 you can see the sign of Ra (meaning rebirth), but you are right, what is happening has nothing to do with Egypt

so Betty probably died because she was a sacrifice (to summon demons, maybe. That’s my best guess) When ghost Betty (still human) has writing on her right saying “They took my soul” there were also the people in red cloaks, and it looks like they’re praying (either Betty killed them for revenge or the demon killed the summoners, I think the latter is more likely though) Also when the scene with the blonde girl (probably Betty’s older sister, or her friend) with Betty plays, there’s also writing on the left and right sides Just to show some of the writing: “I know you didn’t mean it” There was also a scene where Betty’s (she’s green, not human anymore) eyes turned black with swirls swirling in them. Maybe she was possessed by a demon or something There’s also another scene where her head is leaning back with a bunch of people surrounding her and then she bursts in tears (I think maybe survivor’s guilt) Those people don’t look anything like each other, so I assume they were also victims of the people who summoned demons (some probably interfered, others were maybe sacrificed) I’d put more but this is getting way too long lol

It was very interesting to read, I’m glad you have theories My answer will be longer than yours, but I hope you don’t fall asleep while reading👉👈 Most of your claims are true (or close to the truth). But I would advise you to pay attention to these details: 1)The words "They took my soul" do not belong to Betty, but to "Sophie" (they are not blood sisters, but Sophie has always cared about Betty and considered her her her sister) 2)If you look at the scene of Betty’s memories (where she spent her childhood at the boarding school with Sophie), you can see that *Sophie always wears the cross* 3)If you take another look at the frames with the text "They took my soul" and "You should help yourself", you will notice a very *important difference* with childhood scenes 4)After the sacrifice, Betty lost most of her soul and mind to a new form. After the reincarnation, the images that occur in her head are shown. Black entities represent demons. Symbols such as pintograms, Leviathan cross, and and *inverted cross* represent demons too 5)Betty was pushed into actions she later regretted. In the scene where she’s surrounded by the girls' spirits, you can see Sophie’s real ghost in the center 6) In the scene where Betty's "eyes turned black with swirls swirling in them" she briefly escaped the entity's control, and after realizing what she had done, she fell into despair. The scenes after that show the rough events as it really happened. Also one of the details is how Betty's eye color changes depending on whether she is in control of her mind sorry for the huge text, but I was really excited 🤡

Nah it’s fine! Also i think that the more bright the purple is symbolizes when she’s being controlled (i noticed that Betty when she was human, had lavender eyes) and the end animation had her smiling with her eyes a bright purple, so i think that means she is now controlled once again

I think the difference has something to do with the flower crown (Betty was the one wearing it when she was being sacrificed, but Betty wasn’t wearing it in the childhood scenes, neither was Sophie) but there was also the picture with Sophie wearing the flower crown apologies for the long paragraphs lol
