Merrill is a great young Padre and a straight shooter.

This group gets so happy and relieved when they win. 😂 They dont realize how bad they’ve been playing. One win takes all the pain away.

You can have a 10 game win streak and still not make the playoffs… the timing of wins doesn’t matter. Stfu.

I'm ready for robot umpires to call balls and strikes. The home plate umpire almost cost the Padres the game with his HORRIBLE strike zone. Some pitches were balls or strikes even when they were in the exact location. Players deserve consistency and so do the fans.

How about some serious questions from any of the padres reporters? These post game interview questions are the most repetitive, non stimulating, boring questions you could ask. “How did that home run feel? “What is it like winning with your team?” Come on. Maybe you all are scared of losing your press access but this is comical at this point. I would think “journalists” would want to hold themselves to a higher standard.
