It's still in development, and will be for a while. But there's nothing stopping anyone from playing it in it's current state, it just wont be as easy to do as Jak 1, since that's finished.

Theres something nostalgic about seeing the glichted into silent Sandover Village... from the black ropes of the Sage's hut, to the plantless pot, to the falling through the bridge, to the falling through the water. Its a dream.

After bringing Jak II to PC, could the OpenGOAL team bring Uncharted 1 and 2 to PC?

I’m sure they _could_ hypothetically, but they have no intentions of doing so. Jak X is the only title that’s up for consideration besides Jak 3, as I don’t think the Uncharted series used the GOAL programming language like Naughty Dog’s Jak series did.

@@TheBunBun54321 I don't want to get your hopes up, as I'm not someone that's affiliated with the OpenGOAL team, but if I were to make a bet on whether or not they'd do a Jak X decomp and PC port, my bet would be that they'd choose to do so. My thinking is that one would figure that after having spent years learning the in's and out's of this custom programming language, you'd want to use that knowledge to its fullest potential. They already got some sort of understanding of the GOAL language, and while it certainly won't be a walk in the park, I'd imagine that Jak X wouldn't be as troublesome compared to the time when they were just starting out with the first Jak & Daxter, especially considering that Jak X is much more limited and narrow in focus given that it's purely a racing spinoff game.

Nope Uncharted didnt use Goal but The Last of Us did. They switched back to using Goal do get the most out of the PS3 back then. I think they still use Goal to this date for some part in their engine

@@JakvsMetalheads999 no its not the same engine. Naughty Dog once said they should have used tech from the PS2 when they migrated to PS3. But the didnt. The still used GOAL in TLoU again for better scripting
