*UPDATE* This dude was awarded $200,000 after a lawsuit found that Officer Boyd "accidentally" shot this man because he was serving a warrant in an unmarked cruiser and he's left handed, but while in the car he had his gun in his left and and transferred it to his right hand then the gun discharged striking this man in the chest. The officer is STILL WORKING as they refused to file charges stating the officer was in the right to be on high alert due to his warrant.

You see how the reporter is trying his hardest to spin this on this arrestee as if he is in the wrong! Trying to get him to explain his "gang tattoos" asking if he ran from the cops, telling him about the weapons or gun he had and trying to spin the the account of what happened by trying him to admit to blatantly false facts but this guy keeps correcting him. It's clear this reporter is trying to spin it in such a way that makes this guy at fault for the illegal shooting of this guy.

I don't even doubt his story.. Truth is, even if he had "ran or resisted." That wouldn't justify an officer "shooting him." Too often, an just about "regularly" these days. Police and the Justice System operate on an "arrest and prove later" basis. Requiring that people "prove their own innocence," rather then being "innocent until PROVEN guilty." Even in "hear say" type of cases, whether it's the "word" or "sworn testimony" of a civilian ( supposed victim ) or a police officer. An the "word" or accusation alone, of an accuser is taken and used as "evidence" to convict somebody. Is absurd of there's no "physical evidence" beyond that accusation, an in the least other witnesses. Which can still be collaborated to make up and/or lie about an accusation. If NO video footage, dna, finger prints, recorded or written record, or admittance is present. People should absolutely not be imprisoned, fined or charged of crimes. Granted things may happen, like women who come forth claiming to have been raped several years prior. An of the public want to believe the accusation they can, but to criminally charge and punish somebody there NEEDS to be some kind of SOLID and provable evidence. This is "to prove without a shadow of doubt," a yet far too often then not the law operates BENEATH this standard. An there are FAR MORE people falsely accused, jailed or imprisoned, charged and even executed then people would expect or believe. An not only that but framed and slapped with exaggerated an/or outright fabricated charges, by police or other vengeful individuals. It's not hard to believe or comprehend that police will abuse the power they're given, an their statements as a "person of trusted positions of authority." Where and when they do easily can, an that the powers people weild can get to the heads of many. But this only goes on because it's allowed to, an because the system is corrupt in and throughout. An motivated by profits, when police departments are ran and funded the way they are.
