If you get java script error loading the website, remember to delete cookies and history in browser setting. You have to close all tabs and the app itself before trying it aagin ❤👍

Same here. It was tough back then and not as worth it. Thankfully the new henkaku, all the apps on vitadeploy, and sd2vita opened the floodgates. Forever grateful for the homebrew community.

6 days ago I bought a PS Vita Slim with 4gb ps Card Call of Duty, for 60 bucks, put 400Gb card inside and i have the fun of my Life. Crazy how good it is

Beyond thankful I found this video. Didn't get an SD card and adapter for my 2001 or my 1101 when I ordered them and trying to find info on doing this without an SD card was a little rough. I'm not super tech savy, and recently got into modding, but your video, explanation, and step by step process was way easier, better, and more informative than the other one I was trying to follow.

Thanks a ton, easiest guide I've found for this, I tried it with my regular memory card and the memory card got corrupted, I had problems with it before I jailbreaked my vita like it corrupted game save data before, and so it didn't work so I ordered and SD2VITA adapter and your guide was perfect! Every other guide was way more steps involving connecting to a PC, this was simple.

My ps vita is jailbroken with 512gb and I have over 180 games installed with 230 Gb left to spare. I have homebrew apps utilities apps and ported games too. Also I downloaded some custom themes, all I have left is retro arch I’m trying to figure out how to use it but it’s a beast of a console never the less, great video I appreciate the steps now I can enjoy one of the best handhelds ever!

Nice video! I have the OG model and I've always wondered if I could use both SD2Vita and the original memory card at the same time, but it seems not possible. Also, the SD2Vita has the same speed as the sony original card or is it slower/faster, I mean, does it make any difference in loading times in games?

good guide, after moding, some time after, i made the mistake to format the vita memory card, and then i took out the microsd card from the sd2vita and lost it. the console was already hacked, i just needed to download vitadeploy agan and install everything

Just wondering will there be plenty of space for the base console without adapter, for PSP and PS1 games ? I don’t have a ton of games I plan on playing but quite a few. I also heard you mention emulation and I’m not sure if each game will have to be downloaded but if so I just want to make sure it will be enough space.

Hello my friend, a question I need answered. If it is possible when formatting the target storage, does the process require the memory card for the Vita or does it only need the regular memory card? On the 1000 version device.

I have been using a 512GB card in my modded Vita for most of a year now with zero issues. I have that thing STUFFED too! Only 1GB free, at this point. lol Anyway, I can testify perfect results (so far) from a 512GB card and I use my Vita daily.

So I got a question? What is the sd to vita adapter actually used for. Like can I play games with out it? Maybe save progress in the games? Or I need that adapter to play

Before I do this… you said this won’t work on the very first Vita? I have the day one release with OLED and AT&T SIM card. Edit… ok, listened more carefully. I can do it, glad I have that proprietary memory card. Thx for this awesome tutorial. Now to do it… and find one for the Nintendo 3DS.

Only If you’re using a Vita 1000 yes you need a memory stick.

If the 1000 is a launch vita then it works on it too. I did it on mine.

Hebkaku keeps disappearing from my setting and vitadeploy keeps giving me an error when I try to launch it. Also in my device settings im not getting a storage option after formatting.

How about jailbreaking it without wifi, though? Mine's got a faulty wifi board (or so they say) but I don't know where to get it fixed. People in my country probs don't even know that PS Vita existed.

Hey so I followed it to a t and it’s working BUT it wiped my PS1 and PSP games I had bought and installed from the store and I was wondering what to do to get them back? It’s a Japanese Metal Slime Vita 2000 in case that helps. Installing Vita games off of Pk is working perfect but PSX and PSP games only download but don’t pop up on adrenaline or the home pages.

I've been trying to follow this tutorial from multiple channels and seemed to run into an error at every turn. Currently after finally getting no errors installing Henkaku and Vitadeploy, there is no Henkaku menu in my settings. Can anyone help?
