Anchor Avudaiappan was arrogant & sarcastic. After so many years of that incident, the then ADG could also have spoken without any trace of sarcasm at certain places. A well respected Hindu Pontiff being treated this way can happen only in our India. All periyar media. Don’t know whether to call in Karma or God, JJ got her due in some way or the other. The arrest was a big blunder done to satisfy JJ’s ego. Finally, justice was served as he was released by the court and ironically, JJ’s life ended as a convict forever.

He is a kind of saint who ran away with a woman for two weeks and came back to the mutt..The senior Sankarachariar said that this guy left his comandal at the mutt means he left bramachariam.The late writter M/s Anuradh made an open statement that this so called saint gave an open invitation to her to sleep with him. This mainly furiated Jayalalitha to arrest him. It is a shame that communal feeling is so blind that a play boy under the carpet of Saint , is being madly supported to be deserving respect. .

We believe it was wrong case. Last part of information is wrong. Bail was granted by Supreme Court in the morning itself before 10.15 am and Bala Periava was arrested in evening only around 4 pm. What happened was, Periava was not released despite getting bail in the morning itself. It was due to his passport could not be located for surrendering before his release. Subsequently, affidavit was given in lieu of Passport to secure his release. May be he is mentioning this. But, original bail was granted before Bala Periava arrest.

Chandrasekara saraswathi swamigal Mahaperiava is sakshat parama shivan. Jayendrar swamigal was chosen by mahaperiava. This video and the sarcasm of these 2 men brought tears to my eyes. Mahaperiava was kind to everyone. Every moment I can feel his holy presence. Those who did this kind of injustice to kanchi matam died a dogs death. Lord Chandramoulishwarar did justice.

mr avudaiappan should do his home work properly. His questions on well water, flowers for puja, food by brahmin cook are with touch of sarcasm. Very indecent way of questioning the traditions of a reputed religious mutt reflects his character. The police officer was very decent in not encouraging such stupid questions. Even an average Jain will not take onion or Garlic. Madathipathi prays for " yogakshema"

The police who arrested him and was supporting this also had a terrible death. Al of us know what Sasikala is going through now and she is also a criminal as per judgement! It is known that Karunanidhi visited the Maha Periyava at the Kanchi Madam when he was elected at 11pm. Though the Kanchi Madam does not disclose these, a couple of people who were visiting the Acharya that night have talked about it. One has to remember that Karunanidhi too was arrested similarly by Jayalalitha one late night. When one looks at the way she died, looks like Karma does catches up.

Correct. The arrest happened on Nov 1st 2004 and it was UPA who was on power. The upa govt was formed in may 2004. By the way Aavidai didn't do much homework for this interview. It was a casual conversation

Govt. might have kept confidential as Dr.Kalam was handling sensitive matters & projects. Along with that Late.Dr.Kalam and Mr.Nambi did NOT work together.

I saw all the interviews 8 or 9 years back and the interview gallore after the movie of Madavan. Mr.Nambi admitted Kalam did not voice out.
