Thanks for sharing this video Paul, my driver side front indicator on my xkr was working interm.intantly and upon inspection it was a poor earth on the one next to the brake flexi, if it was'nt for your video i would probably have took the headlight etc out to replace the bulb, so thanks again matey 👍👍

I’ve got a 2006 xk. Had trouble starting. Seems on the chat sites there a lot of problems with the 06 in starting. Mines at the garage at the moment so I’ll be checking this when it comes back. Thanks good Video,

I think if I lived in a wet high corrosion area like England I would have taken the opportunity to heat shrink and seal the ends of the new part to prevent any future issues.

The salted roads in the UK appear to cause havoc with cars. I am fortunate to be in Australia where the roads are salt free. My 2008 XKR has no surface corrosion and a virtually new appearance underbody.

I can't find this ground point at wheel arch on my xk2011 😮

Why didn't you replace it with a fully insulated lead, would protect it from road spray/salt?
