My oldest car now ..is a 1985 Mercedes 500 SEC..she looks a gem

@@brucecolby5016 Large radius arm bush is facing towards the mounting cup on the body with its large opening. Not that I couldn't flip the arm in 2 minutes if it was not attached correctly.

@@Simple_Classic_Cars if the short head bolt holding the track end was trapped in place by the hub carrier from the outside in,as fitted, u couldnt flip anything in 2 minutes without splitting the hub carrier and removing the locktab to pull the bolt back..unless u refit the bolt backward for convenience over safety.

Just got my first Jag....a 91 XJS.....and brake fluid is dripping from final drive. Jag says remove entire final drive to work on brakes?????......do i really have to remove it, or can i get to the brakes from under the car?

matt sez you should be able to take off calipers and replace lines, if needed without pulling the whole rear end.

whew.....was worried. All i know so far, is bad leak from center area, so im assuming its a caliper or metal line. Is there an area they are known for leaking at in that area?
