Very interesting but I want to know how much electricity was left in the battery on the 16th run and how many more assents would the car make on one charge?

Yes, very good but what about real life driving! What's the real range then, what if I'm travelling up and down the motorway from Gloucestershire to Scotland regularly, how many times would I have to stop and charge and for how long?

Depends on your driving style, the weather (less range when it's cold), and/or how many of the electric gizmos are switched on. Then you have to plan the journey for where the charging points are (and alternates in case one is out of action) and how much power they can deliver. Don't bother with anything less than 50kW unless you have unlimited time or need a long kip!

Drove to Newcastle from London recently no speed restriction other than keeping legal, 3 people and luggage and aircon on (warm end of July), just one charge stop was enough.
