Never been a fan of any jaguar, but this one makes me moist

Coming back to this video to say that this review inspired me to want to get a nice sounding jaguar v8. 9 years later I changed my mind and instead got a v8 mustang and it sounds just as glorious. Thanks for the inspiration!

I own one and the thing most people leave out is that it has what I'd call "presence". When Its around people are always aware of it no matter what else happens to be in the area. It's something a lot of great cars will never have /cough mustang, camaro, hellcat

weatherman 37 I agree with you. I was at a cars and coffee a few months back. There were super cars, muscle cars, exotics, etc. this car just stood out - it stopped the foot traffic, literally

20 mph at 7k? my car does 20 at like..... 4.... in first but mostly omg this car is so fucking great. My neighbor got one and i every time he drives by i KBB the resale value of my soul

Jaguars carbon ceramic brakes don’t squeak and they are amazing! Having no break dust on your wheels is also a bonus.

I could listen to nothing but that exhaust note until I die and be completely content with my life.. besides owning one

This guy has some good shots and editing.

Great review... I like the jet/fighter pilot interior. Glad you are able to tone-down exhaust as needed.

Very nice review, liked a lot, will sub, but a point needs to be made, carbon fiber is in fact the old fairly cheap hard plastic, it's obviously not carbon fiber, you can see it at 7:09, that's the only fault that I think this car has, but the rest compensates.

People are totally misinterpreting the 911 as a race car but not a driver's car.

squeeking in the breaks are due to the brake pads fading.. not because its ceramic..

CH H false... with some exceptions, ceramic brakes squeak and sound like shit on the street. Automakers are finally using rotor/pad combinations that don't do this, which is a good thing. There are many still though, that squeal and squeak under normal operation. -JG

Just an FYI, the interior is not carbon fiber at all... it's fake looking carbon fiber print plastic... WHY they did this who knows?! Such a beautiful car and they do something so silly like that..

I'll just point out that 'Carbon Fibre' = Carbon Fibre Reinforced Plastic/(Polymer). + What makes you say its just textured plastic? As someone who has worked with carbon fibre for 7-8 months, it looks just like 1K twill to me.

I have a F Type R and can absolutely say that it is the real deal Carbon Fiber, you can feel the texture, no plastic here!

The F Type R has no soul. It's all about heavy metal and that's it. It isn't the all-around package like the Porsche 911.

Kares Pratt It's power, noise, great looks, an engaging driving experience, and a subtle nod to its history... which is similar to the 911 you mentioned. It may lose in a track battle to the 911, but that's a minor quibble and has no bearing on a car's soul. A car like the F-Type makes me think of the classic racing Jaguars, while also reminding that the brand has come a long way. The cars work now, and they work well. The F-Type is both brash and refined, it's beautiful and aggressive, it's powerful yet still luxurious. To say it has no soul is a joke... everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but your opinion is simply incorrect. It's rare I drive a car that has AS MUCH soul as the Jaguar F-Type possesses.

I agree that soul isn't a joke either. I have plenty of knowledge about the 911 and F-Type because I look at all sides of a sports car. Not just track capability.
