I have a 2018 V6. Issues to date: whooping noise from supercharger belt. Tensioner replaced under extended warranty. Problem came back, new supercharger kit. Going back for a third time on the 11th Sept for constant theft alerts.(sos limited functionality) Emissions error O2 sensor last year. Second emissions fault HO2S heater resistance yet to be rectified. Now out of warranty. Key fob packed up yesterday,new battery but still not working. My middle name’s lucky btw

@@JWL-UK . So it’s registered Sept 2018. I’ve had it just coming up to 3 years. Had 8700 on the clock when I got it, now at 23350

All Ftypes seem to have water pump issues and control arm ussues like the land rover at under 25k miles? Would love to own one, a bit nervous about cost of ownership.

It's a pan roof not a sun roof so it is not meant to open, so not sure this is an issue at all. I prefer a Pan roof as they have no issues regarding creaks and groans as they get older.

Pan roofs do open, the difference between a pan and a regular is the size

The Chequered Flag only comes with Diamond Cut Gyrodynes as Standard

cons? well if you have earlier years around 28k miles you'll probably need to replace a coolant pipe taht's under the supercharger. very common fix. it's about $1700 USD. also the middle AC vent up and down will generally fail at some point

@@Berley_1234 Of course it should fail. That’s exactly what happens when manufacturers do unnecessary gimmicky things like that. I’m not a fan of their decision to have those moving vents, but I certainly wouldn’t not buy the car over it.

The hood vent issue getting water to the injectors is a non-issue on the newer design of the car.
