    As a Ferrari-guy I must admit that I also think that the E-type is an extraordinary car. It is always a pleasure to drive, and has the utmost stunning looks. So, agree!

    @0:03 ... no it’s not a 4.2 liter engine. It’s a 5.3. The 4.2 is a straight six. This one is the V12.

    This is a '74 Canadian or American E Type (sidelights give it away), that has had its big safety rubber overiders removed, and has had the earlier chrome ones grafted on, that were also found on the North American Series III in '71-72, and 1973 in the back. Very nice car, but as it has had the aforementioned modifications, it should also get the chrome that's missing in the back beneath the bumper and the tail lamps. As for the fellow who wants wood, you can get a wood Moto Lita steering wheel if you like, and British Autowood (check on-line) can supply a nice burl walnut centre dash, walnut door cappings, a wood shifter, etc.

    Is this an American import given the speedo meter is in mph ( and not km) and because it got side marker lamps in the rear ?

    Whoever placed that ridiculous sign on the hood was clearly not thinking.

    Convertible versions of this car look absolutely fantastic, while ones with hard top look disgusting. Strange, how something as small as roof can radically change the resemblance of a vehicle.

    Steve....E-Type Jags never had wood dashes...Gallery though don't know that this is a '73 Jag not '74.....the overiders on 1974 cars were really beefy, large,extended out, US regulations.
