Together with Chitraji, Jagjit Singh Saab had offered innumerable masterpieces to the World Of Ghazal Gayiki, each one being unique in one's own right, in one's own individual way, rich in content - lafz, sur, taal, and loy - and - aesthetic value ! During their heydays, they had ruled the roost in the arena of ghazal gayiki ! Professionalism, Perfection, and Sophistication in performance was the hallmark of Jagjit Singh Saab ! Jagjit Singh Saab had given ghazal gayiki in India a pedestal, which will be difficult to surpass !

When you hear Jagjit Singh you can’t help remember Talat though their voice were very different. They gave their times the gift of ghazals
