जगजीत सर आपकी आवाज को सुनते सुनते ही जवान हुए, और अब घर की गृहस्थी भी चला रहे हैं लेकिन दर्द की वो रातें दिल के कोने में यकीनन छुपी हुई है।वो आज भी दिल के तार कंपित कर देती हैं। आपके ग़ज़लों के शेयर पढ कर ,ग़ज़ल गा कर हमने भी कई महफिलें लूटिं,तुम्हरे नाम का जिक्र करके कई बार पलकों को भीगा पाता हूं। कई रातों से वो सोया नहीं था, मैं तन्हा था मगर इतना नहीं था......वाह उपर भी मिलेंगे पक्का।

जगजीत साहब को कॉलेज टाइम से सुनता आ रहा हूं उम्र गुजर गई मेरी लेकिन उनके गाने दिन पर दिन जवान होते जा रहे हैं ,लेकिन इन लोक डाउन में उनके गानों में मुझे फिर से पुराने दिनों को याद दिला दिया।

AAp ki aawaj me to sach me jadu hai. sunte sunte kab nind aajati hai pata hi nahi chalta hai. jai shree ram ji .

Combination of touching lyrics, voice, soft music.... but more than anything else, "dard" - feeling of pain which haunts the sound. This last makes Jagjit irreplaceable. We were blessed to have been gifted such a gift.

He is still alive, Living his words in my living room. Thank you so much for your words.

I am from TN. Jagjit singh ji voice attracted me towards Ghazal. It brings out the unknown pains of feelings, emotions. Unknowingly Hindi I started to understand. Background sitar and other instruments are soothing.

Met him in 1995 Our university PCO owner Adeeb was a friend of Jagjit Singh and fractured his arm He came over to the pco and luckily I was with my girlfriend, begged me wanted to call her mother Otherwise would have missed this Very calm wonderful person he was Asked me about our relationship and was happy we were both in love etc So another thanks to the love of my life She was an Angel who came into my life Miss her every day

Whenever Im depressed and feel lonely I listen Jagjit Sir song and get peaceful mind...

My all time favorite. Had great couple of chances to attend his live concerts at Baroda in 1996 in Satyam Shivam Sundarm hall and and at Dubai on 31/12/2004 in Emirates towers Shaikh Zayed road..... Unmatched of the Music Industry.....a velvetee magical voice...

गज़ल एक दवा की तरह है। जैसे जब कभी आपके घाव पर दवा लगाई जाती है तो अपने आप आह सी निकलती है , वैसे हो ग़ज़लों को सुनो तो दिल से अपने आप आह निकलती है और घाव गहरा हो तो आँसू भी झलक आते है। जगजीतसिंह जी की गजल बस वही दवा है । । Hats off to him ❤❤❤❤❤❤

मैं यह सोच के हैरान होता हूँ कि जगजीत सिंह जी का जीवन किन बुलंदियों और एहसासों के साथ गुजरा होगा। संगीत के ऐसे खूबसूरत और परमानन्द देने वाले दरख़्त पर उन्होंने कैसा महसूस किया होगा।

No one like jagjit sing shab I always listen gazals of jagjit sir when ever I sad in my life

My grandfather used to listen to Jagjit Singh and Ghulam Ali a lot in the old cassettes. He passed away 23 years ago, but I still miss him a lot. Everytime I miss him, I come to these Ghazals. Such peace and tranquility ❤️Blessed to keep them in my thoughts and heart through such beautiful melodies.

I mostly listen to metal and not just mainstream metal but Scandinavian metal with a lot of growling but I'm often find myself coming back to listen to Mehdi Hassan and of course Jagjit Singh. That is the power of ghazal music.
