Let me know what you thought were the BEST and WORST parts of necromancy release. Omniguard stack decrease is also a buff, I misunderstood. So double buff! 0:00 for all the upcoming and potential changes 8:45 for my thoughts about the good & bad from necromancy release

Best: the combat, especially how living death does more than just give a blanket damage buff. Basics aren't just different flavours of "do damage". The other abilities all have a use (even bloat). The interaction between threads of fate and soul sap. Worst: the sheer amount of time spent at rituals only for the minimum completion. The over reliance on rituals for high end xp. The overnerfed boss xp. The existence of necroplasm seems to solely be for main accounts to spend or make money. Neutral: the threshold of power you can reach is extremely fast compared to other styles.

@@typerightseesight Are you doing these rituals at Level 90 Necromancy, with an Extreme Necro potion and Multiply III Glyphs active? I'm getting 4 Greater Ensouled Cloths per Piece of Subjugation. At 99 you can get 5 Cloths per piece (with the Necro Skillcape Perk). Otherwise you'd be wasting absolute bank here. This way i only need to get lucky at K'rill like 3 Times and i'm set.

yeh im level 80 trying to make tank so i can farm more plates for power. but at cost thats 420m i think i might just farm the plates and the robes myself. and skip tank ger entirely. @@Kranon
Them increasing darkness to 12m is awesome. 4m was just a little bit too short for most bosses. Currently 114 and the grind to 120 is REALLY boring and repetitive though.

Indeed, i was using T90 Warden Robes and T80 Deathdealer's to benefit from both effects, but thankfully that's a thing of the past now. So excited for this change :D

That’s because you’re grinding it… nothing in this game is meant to be the only thing you work on for an extended period of time. You can progress pretty easily from scratch without ever putting in long consecutive hours in one task. So if you’re already mostly maxed or maxed prior to this it’s gonna get boring. Especially since it’s a combat skill and is meant to be leveled along side other combat skills through game experience and things like slayer/bossing.

@Kranon why not just use the inaction I use the tank armor with the inaction don't befit from like killing them at 60k health but 30k damage less still
I hope Jagex expands the underworld. Like a whole new continent built around Um would be amazing and could really expand on Necromancy content

Well, taking into consideration this is just Step 1 in a WHOLE necromancy Season, I can see it happening. But first, we visit Ungael and Vorkath.

I really enjoy necromancy, it’s really nice to see a very positive and unique combat change.
Necromancy definitely should not have been a 120 skill. I also think you're right about the rituals. Using combat should be the most efficient way to train a combat skill, but with Necromancy, it just isn't. Thousands of rituals in and not even 120 yet.

Yes it should have. Because they’re most likely gonna raise the other skills to 120 now. They’ve been cutting it close with post t90 gear… squeezing in t92, t95, etc. how long until they have t91, t92. T93, t94, t95, and so on until 99? Then what gear are they gonna add? And combat is the most efficient way until really late in the skill. Because they’re probably gonna be adding more post 99 worthy mobs and bosses that award appropriate post 99 exp… seeing a how mob exp is tied to health now and Necro is going to be doing a lot of damage with post 99 content once it’s released… see how things work if you just think about it for a second? Besides, no one’s forcing you to grind anything. You can easily just do combat post 99 (especially due to the lack of worth post 99 unlocks) and level over time. But you feel the unhealthy NEED to level some pixels to 120. That’s on you. This isn’t a traditional combat skill and the ritual aspect makes perfect sense and would feel absolutely horrible to do if it didn’t have decent exp.

I have literally done thousands of rituals. It takes several hundred rituals just to get enough souls for the well.@@lostkhaz

I was really rather surprised at how fast the prices for the new high use necro items were. It was just days in and Jagex had calibrated ink and necro plasm to adjust quicker to the markets. I don't know why other items like ashes weren't updating as fast, but still

They manually updated the prices to he average at the time. They did the same for rates a few weeks after max cash change
the omiguard stack reduction is a buff. You previously needed 6 stacks to ready death spark but after the update you will only need to build 5 stacks

Yes I misunderstood I haven't used the guard yet but you are right!
I think it's a fantastic addition to the game, helps new and returning players, and has good potential for the future. I agree with you on post 99 that there's not much to do other than get better crit damage. I found the skill also makes some of the other bosses i've struggled with before, easier. Maybe jagex will add more to it in the future only time will tell.

Watching your videos again on my feed and seeing you're so far ahead with the skill is so refreshing :D I kinda feel bad i just broke Level 90 last night, but i'm done with all the achievements, quests and resources i can possibly need for the next tasks so i guess it works :P
i kinda love how OP necromancy combat is, ive not done much bossing, not sure why now deaths are so cheap, but learning is a chore, anyhow to unlock t90 power armour ya gotta kill a few bosses, namely rax, tried range, then mage, struggled, used necromancy - forgot the cloth - and was stunned at how much easier it was, at least to learn mechanics and phases, ate a whole inventory of sailfish but worth it. feel way more prepared for a cleaner run.

Honestly I think necromancy as a skill is solid. It's fun to use, and it's definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone with pvm doing bosses like telos, zuk, amby. I think the skill overalls power level might be just a little high, but with that I think it does encourage those that struggle with full manual to give it a go with the lack of switches and the reward of boosted dps for manual casting. I think it is a good skill to help bridge the gap into doing higher tier pvm.

It really baffles me that people think that the skill is ‘too strong’ rather than the other styles simply being weaker because they’re not designed for 120. I can almost guarantee they’re gonna rework the other styles to be 120s and then the damage will scale or they’ll add specific niches to each style.
thank god someone else other than me thinks the same. i definiatly think this skill needed a bit more added in depth before release as the sitting at rituals for so long is a pain but its bound to be the normal for newer skills as if u think with the rest of the skills had the core foundation of the entire rs lifespan. so i yes i do reckon necromancy will get better with a few updates and tweaks... plus hopefully some more engaging content. love ur vids nuzz keep it up :)

Necro has been great so far, my only complaint is that revo++ doesn't feel good with it. If I'm doing a slayer task I don't want to manually use thresholds all the time.

Death Skulls/Scythe/Soul Sap/Soul Strike is a strong set-up for revo++ aoe. It's surprisingly effective with just those 4. You can also add blood siphon if you're having a hard time staying alive because of hard hitting mobs.

Interesting issue with t90 tank armor vamp aura makes the dodge useless as you still take damage
easy buff to the other combat skills, is if they expand them to 120 in regards to how crit damage works and removing the damage cap they have in comparison. necromancy is broken because it can easily smack 20k+ where doing that with any other combat style its a 5-7 minute build up with shards, not every 30-45 seconds. Simple changes like the removal of damage cap or bring them in line with necromancy's for the other styles and/or having their crit damage scale to 120 like how necromancy's works
Archeology also added a lot after the fact so I'm not too worried. I want some time to practice necro with existing bosses and the two new ones before we go adding a bunch of new stuff. Necro already has more new abilities to manage than melee, ranged, or magic based on how cramped my bars are. Really approving of that change to ashes, would've saved me a LOT of porter charges.

I wish in addition to rituals for souls, they came out with a combat minigame for soul gathering. A group effort to close off portals to the underworld while demons and evil necromancers try to stop you. Make it like stealing creation. Just anything besides statue simulator.
The only thing I would change is the teir 90 upgrade quests, I think the tank quest is too long and the power quest is a bit much with the ambassador kill thats required.

This should have been an elite skill between magic summoning and prayer.
Say we get more throughout 100-120, we'll have gear too that will go accordingly - one thing is the Tz-cape, that is already out... but I'm thinking we may get more involvement in the item department. Like Slayer, so I think for Necromancy only (equal to slayer or hunter only/combined) whereas it will not allow you to hurt anyone prior to said level. One thing I personally don't like is having bosses on the requirement list for upgrading equipment... be it power or tank armor (but that is me... I've not been really into bossing, even when GWD came out back in the days... - so it might just be a preference thing.) - As a combat stat in itself, I do wish that we'll have NPC's notice something about us, in a way or another... call it fluff, but it's the one skill that made a certain lady in falador park lose her rights to the max cape... - so I was hoping some might actually react on our progression in a way. ON that note, any ideas for Mini games that utilizes Necromancy as one of their main skills (NO I'm not saying current exisiting ones, but possibly future ones), and what about dummies for Necrotic combat, ala combat dummies or skilling dummies? (should it be some sort of holy priest or some sort of Zealot?). While we're there, how about involving some skills into it, like hunter for a new impling type (coming up with names as I go... but: Maniacle impling), has some of the base to mid ritual componants in it (bassic ghostly ink), (regular ghostly ink), basic ritual candels, etc... requires 80 agility to catch barehanded... 80 necromancy and 85 hunter (all within reason of course). Well, sorry for the massive wall... but hey, some thoughts at least.

I heard they are giving the others a big buff to later this year.
The prices right now will ripple for a bit. In a month or two they'll stabilize at a new equilibrium. as a combat style it has to have parity with the other three, so it can't have too much above 99. Once they wrap up the immediate necromancy stuff I wouldn't be shocked to see the others advance to match.

abuse this skill before it gets nerfed!!
I got bummed out not being able to charge soulhammer at altars after kills.

Ritual being the best exp makes sense, but I prefer afk-ing past the 35k souls. After 99 the skill does just feel like a grind with no real benefits. Hopefully this changes later.
What they to change is th amount of obsered amount of souls needed to you unlock abilities on the well it so bad xp like and just boring I like th skill ot self but trying to unlock abilities is just stupid
I think necromancy lacks gear and options and abilitys past 99 because none of the other combat skill go to 120 yet.

@@ahkamay i think its more so they do HAVE it fully fleshed out to 120, and are waiting till the fall when the 120 combat update drops for all skills, to keep necromancy from just being the only combat style for the next few months.
The complaints about content after 99 are misguided. You did mention it was a combat style which is why there's no additional "content" there's hundreds of monsters and bosses to play around with that already exist.

I guess my only reasoning would be that they made it a combat skill that specifically goes to 120, unlike the others. I mean they do but they don't unlock anything. If they had made this the same sure, I guess I was just expecting some really cool new stuff to be unlocked training past 99, but I know there's more updates to come.

Like the combat. Dislike best exp is ritual. Dislike main way for souls was skilling. Should of been able to kill monsters and souls be added. Dislike how more powerful it is compared to the other 3. First thing to do would be remove the 15k damage cap with other skills. Overall good up date though

I love the combat hate rituals. Devs lied saying you could choose how to level either by rituals or combat.... It aint no choice when 90% of necromancy is barred behind rituals. And i hope all armour crashes i think its horrible how the best armour in game is mostly only available to rich elites that can do bosses with their eyes closed.

@@LeagueofWut So, your complaint is that they gave the community a simplified, easy to understand combat style that allows easier access to learning to PvM? The vast majority of feedback I've seen is that people love this aspect of necromancy and are hoping they see that and figure out ways to better streamline the other combat styles.

@@VestasCure I agree up until hoping that they potentially dramatically change the other styles to be as simplified as Necro is. It would just lower the skill ceiling while also potentially making them very boring for players that aren't new to pvm (mid tier included, not just the top 1%). I love that Necro gives a streamlined and simple approach to get people into pvm through the use of a very cool style but idk about making them all too similar. Usually the over homogenization of jobs has a negative impact on games.
i thought this new skill would revive the game but its just boring as hell maybe its my age.

I enjoyed the update more than I thought I would. But the skill is too strong. It’s too easy. No effort for insane damage, t90 gear is easy to get. Makes all other styles pointless. Releasing T95 gear on a 1 minutes boss day of release is stupid. Where else can the skill go? We have bis already for such a easy boss. Needs a hard nerf.

I reckon they should have had Rasial have a normal and hard mode. Make Normal mode current difficulty and make it drop like a pocket slot item/upgrade and Necromancy runes, then the hard mode drops the current uniques, and give it a modified final phase like HM Kerapac.
