Honestly same the show is turning out to be The perfect blend between call backs and actual ne content I'm loving the fact that the not completely riding of of initial Ds success and its it's own story Plus the whole side character get more attention is awesome

Kanata actually applied the same overtake technique used by Tachi Tomoyuki (Disappearing Line). Kakeru focused on the inside too much that he didn't pay attention to his outside line.

MFG is such a perfect sequel man. It makes me feel the same way I felt watching Initial D for the first time. It’s such a surreal feeling being here for new episodes for an Anime I fell in love with. It’s a perfect combo of callbacks and new storylines. Kanata Rivington/ Katagiri will be the Takumi Fujiwara for new fans. We’re entering a new age of anime car enthusiasts
