Yes it's Carnatic Sangeetha from Karnataka.. Pithamaha of Karnataka Sangeetha is Purandara Dasaru.. which was nourished by Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam speaking people too.. for the convenience they made Carnatic...

Thanks for the meaning. Uddharana is creator, keeper. I had recently been to the temple where Sri Purandara Dasa composed this song. Mysore Rajam Iyengar sings it differently.
