It appears like a hoax rather biopic on An Awatara like Adi Shankaracharya and scholar Manda Might who himself was legend as his pet perrot could also recite Vaidic mantra. While intellectual debates scholars never threw tantrum on each other. Facial expressions too on faces of these three depicted them as egoist, what nonsense, no one can tolerate the liberty being enjoyed by film makers in. The name of creativity. It should be realistic rather dramatic, marred by cheap dialogues and over acting.

To all who are interested on the lost true history Adi Guru Shankarcharaya. I am 88 yrs old scientist, and I have worked on medicinal plants of the Himalayas mainly of Uttarakhand throughout my life. And, recently, I have worked on a divine plant of Rgveda, the 'Soma', and the paper is yet to be published in April-May in the Indian Journal of History of Sciences, a very reputed journal of India. When it is published I would send you a copy of the same for your holiness kind perusal and information. 1. It is stated that when Adi Sankaracharya started his journey to Kedar and Neelkantha Kshetra in Uttarakhand, he was accompanied by Anantananda, his Shishya (disciple). 2. It is mentioned that Ananatananda used to maintain his day to a diary, which later came out as a travelogue. 3. It is further stated that Acarya had also planned to visit Kailash but he fell ill and according to Anantanada, he visited Kailash by Akash marga (Aerial path). 4. There is one interesting story about Acarya, which I had collected from folklore from the Malaria area. From Joshimath the route bifurcates, one goes to Badrinath and another to Malari. It is stated that Acarya first reached Malari. He decided to establish "Badrinath' at Malari as it was a serene and beautiful location. But, he did not establish the temple there as the people of this place were 'Bakshya Baksh" meat-eaters. So, he left the place immediately and returned to Joshimath. and, from Joshimath, he went towards present Badrinath. 5. Here at Badrinath the Acharya found an abandoned Buddhist temple, without an idol. So he established a Vishnu idol in the temple and named it Badrinath after the name of Badriphal, Hippophae salicifolia and recognized the place as the fourth Dham of the Hindus as earlier he had already established three Dhams. 6. From Badrinath, he went to Kedarnath, where he died and his immortal soul was laid down into a Samadhi behind the temple, and after that Anantananda returned. 7. Later, Rohillas attacked the Badrinath temple and threw the idol of Vishnu into the Taptakunda in the Alakhnanda River. Later, the idol was traced and recovered from Taptakunda. But, the idol recovered from Tapta Kunda was not of Vishnu but the Budha and established as Vishnu idol according to Rahul Sankratayan. 8. My main aim actually, to know about the diary of Anantanada. This diary is very important and certainly, would reveal many historical, geographical, religious, and travel facts associated with the Acarya's journey in Uttarakhand. 9. Will any one researching on Shankracharya throw light on Anantnada and find his diary where it is lodged at Srimatam Samsathanam or elsewhere? I am sure your good self would help me to know about the facts and bestow on me in revealing the past unknown history an share with me at shancdr@gmail.com

I would suggest you all see, Adi Shankara. It appears an absurd depiction through overacting. The great Shankara, did not need to be dramatic, neither did, Mandana Mishra. The debate lasted 15 days. The great, Sureshacharya, was not a buffon. He was given the seat of Sringeri, I think. Of course, we must bow at the feet of the great vedic scholars. My, Shashtang Namaskar, to the greats.

दो महान के वाद विवाद को इस तरह बिल्कुल गलत है। निसंदेह आचार्य शंकर्याचार्य महान थे । वे वाद विवाद जीते भी थे किंतु उनको महान दिखाने के लिए मंडन मिश्र को गलत दिखाना, घमंडी दिखाना अनुचित है। शंकराचार्य एवं मंडन मिश्र दोनो महान थे । दोनो ने वेद पुराणों का गहन अध्यन किया था। सिर्फ दोनो में विचारों के भेद थे , एक अद्वैत वेदांती थे तो दुसरे मीमांसा के समर्थक। आदि गुरु शंकराचार्य ने कितने लोगों से वाद विवाद किया किंतु सबसे प्रसिद्ध वाद विवाद मंडन मिश्र के साथ वाद विवाद है। इसका अर्थ ही है की मंडन मिश्र स्वयं विद्वान थे तब ही शंकराचार्य के सामने इतने दिनो तक टिक पाए। ये वाद विवाद एक दिन नही बल्कि कई दिनों तक चले। अतः शंकराचार्य को महान दिखाने के लिए मंडन मिश्र का अपमान करना नही चाहिए

Why in this people showing mandanamishra as willan , he is also good acharya/schalor like adishankara, even he defeated adishankara treated him more respectfully, people should give some weitage to mandanamishra, using some words among them when debating would be better and weigghfully.
