Jag Panzer-Warfare (HD)

Музыка

Track two from 194's "Ample Destruction".
LYRICS:
We're on the prowl and our claws are bared
There is no holding back so you'd better beware
My sights are homing in, I feel the power surge
No time for excuses now that I have the urge
Madame and mister listen up and take heed
I was raised in hell and I'm spreading the seed
Breakin' your face and bustin' your head
Won't leave you alone until I leave you dead
We're the restless breed livin' day by day
So get down on your knees 'cause this time you're gonna pay
I'm living my life causing, Warfare!
Reigning king of the night, Warfare!
Take it from the streets, Warfare!
Put it in the sheets, Warfare!
Trample the cities leaving dust in our wake
Not a thing left alive, run before it's too late
The women, the children, the young and the old
Nothing will escape the Panzer stronghold
Sound of crushing bones, scent of burning flesh
Posting skulls on a pole terrorizing the rest
We're the restless breed leaving nothin' behind
Can't reason with a man who has death on his mind
Total destruction from the Panzer patrol
Fire and brimstone taking its toll
Black leather lords we're so tall and so proud
Warfare is our battle cry, shout it aloud

F'n awesome. Saw these guys in '84, Rainbow Music Hall, Denver, CO, opening for I think Grim Reaper. Jag Panzer blew everyone away and stole the show. My friends and I went right out and bought this record and it turned out to be one of the best ever. Great record!

I believe this song and Painkiller are the ones that scream METAL the most. They are brutal but without losing class.

I suggest listening to basically any late 70s/80s Speed metal then (as well as the 'lighter' thrash metal acts like early Anthrax and Overkill as well as the Progressive bands...and 80s Power metal bands.) You'll probably like these quite a lot.

Gabriel Costa There are hundreds of thousands of artists that fit under these categories...therefore I find your claims hard to believe...... I suggest that you should elaborate just a little bit on that post....I'm not trying to disagree with you either, you can't disagree with an opinion....I can't tell you that your opinion is wrong or that you don't have an opinion. I'm actually hoping you'll find more music you like...that was the intention of my post.

Yes, I'm still searching for more and I have heard thousands. From Medieval Steel to Liege Lord (80's), From Grand Funk Railroad to Riot (70's). But from all I have heard, I believe this track represents power metal like no other. Would please tell what track do you believe symbolizes metal music?

Gabriel Costa Grand Funk Railroad aren't really Power/Speed metal.....and after reading that I can slightly understand where you're coming from......I thought you were referring to all of heavy metal, I didn't realize you meant only 80s Speed/Power stuff. You have to realize however that not all Heavy metal music revolves around the United states...nor Power/Speed metal...which is why your original comment was confusing. if you haven't already I definitely suggest Fates warning's 'Night on the brocken' and Queensryche's 'The Warning'....like many 80s Power/Speed metal bands they're both basically Judas Priest worship (which let's be honest, is pretty awesome.) and both are great records. I have to ask...do you mainly listen to Power/Speed metal?? or do you like other forms as well, I'm not trying to pass negative judgement, I'm trying to find where you're coming from so perhaps I might have a better understand of your point of view. Here's mine though, I personally much preferred the 80s European Power/Speed metal bands over the Us ones (although I love both.) The European ones tended to be more melodic...more complex and of course the vocals hahaha although I love the thrashy sound many of the Us power metal bands incorporated (although Some of the Us bands labeled as Power metal......sounded...just a little too much like Anthrax's mid 80s material in my mind to be considered just 'Power metal' hahaha.)

Their overall style reminds me of Judas Priest but this song's riff reminds of 2 Minutes to Midnight by Iron Maiden
