Jafar Panahi message for Nasrin Sotoudeh, March 2021

Фильм және анимация

A message from internationally acclaimed filmmaker Jafar Panahi about human rights attorney and political prisoner Nasrin Sotoudeh. Panahi and Sotoudeh are co-recipients of the 2012 European Parliament Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought. Jafar Panahi’s statement was filmed on the shore of the Caspian Sea to mark the 2021 International Women’s Day, and the 1000th day Sotoudeh has been in prison since her 2018 arrest.
The Sakharov Prize was awarded to them in “solidarity and recognition to a woman and a man who have not been bowed by fear and intimidation and who have decided to put the fate of their country before their own.” Recently, Sotoudeh has received the 2020 Right Livelihood Award, and The American Bar Association Eleanor Roosevelt Prize for Global Human Rights Advancement
Jafar Panahi is one of the world’s most honored writer / directors. As reported in The New York Times, “After Mr. Panahi’s release (from prison), he was barred for 20 years from making films, writing screenplays, speaking to the media or leaving the country. Today, he lives in a legal limbo and would face six years in prison if authorities decided to charge him with violating the ban.” The director of the Berlin Film Festival called Panahi’s film “Taxi” (which features Nasrin Sotoudeh) “A wonderful example for the subversive potential of a great masterpiece.”
See the Nasrin Sotoudeh documentary NASRIN:
“NASRIN is a profile in courage for the 21st Century. Sotoudeh is her country's Nelson Mandela. Nothing seems to deter her. This riveting film shines a light on one of the most enlightened, exciting and courageous people in the fight for human rights.” - NEWSWEEK
“This beautiful and essential film shows Nasrin’s incredible strength in the face of terrible adversity in an inspiring and surprisingly personal way. I urge you to see NASRIN!” - Margaret Atwood

'Religion is an insult to human dignity.', S.Weinberg Few centuries ago, Europe has been ruled by religious leaders too. Those times we remember as 'dark ages'. It is so sad to see decent, smart and good people, who are struggling for better world, savagely and brutally oppressed by evil rulers. Nasrin is true hero! I hope that time will soon come for you people to step out of these dark ages. Nasrin, her heroic struggle and her sacrifice, must not be forgotten.

Bewise! "Every person should obey the government in power. No government would exist if it hadn't been established by God........2 Therefore, whoever resists the government opposes what God has established. Those who resist will bring punishment on themselves". Romans 13:1-2 (GW)

The CREATOR at this point has permitted the DEVIL to rule this world. Luke 4:5-6 : Then the devil, taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said to Him, "All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish.

Religion is regarded by common people as true, by the wise as false and by the leaders as useful.

@@yahbin77 Aetheism is not about there is no GOD, it is about what kind of GOD is he with all in-justices in the world, e.g. children with cancer or an insect that causes blindness, etc. ‎ مشکل بی اعتقادی به خدا نیست و مشکل این است که چه جور خدایی است که با بی عدالتی باعث مثل سرطان در بچه ها و یا یک حشره باعث کور شدن (تراخم) مردم میشود.
