it's really nice and refreshing to see so many people who support jaemin also sharing the same introverted experiences...all in all i just think that regardless the person whether you know them or not you won't always know what they're going through. that's not to say jaemin's necessarily going through something now but to those who have left bad comments, made assumptions about him, it wouldn't hurt to keep it to yourself. also doesn't take much understand the way an introvert functions, because not everyone is the same. nana hasn't done anything wrong so idk why so many people appear to be so personally attacked by his "behaviour" recently. i'm just glad so many people are showing him love during this time and that there are so many that are understanding as well. i'm sure the recent promotions have been tiring for him, but he's working ever so hard. also think that if at any time i were in a room with 22 other people i'd be gone before the end of the day as well haha > if you love jaemin that means loving all parts of him. because high tension jaemin is just as much "jaemin" as the jaemin who's quiet and wants to recharge. i wish more people understood that. it's just who he is EDIT: i genuinely forgot to add but i just wanted to say, rather than speculating and wondering if jaemin's okay or not, it's always nicer to leave nana words of support or love. go on lysn, if you're subscribed to his bubble drop him kind words everyday, leave comments on his instagram posts. he's said before that it's simple words like "i love you", "thank you" and "you've worked hard" that he wants to hear from fans. he's said that we should only see pretty things, and it's only fair we give him the same right? it's valid to be concerned if nana's tired or unwell, being in the main units for both part 1 and 2 and working so hard with practice and other schedules in between. that alone probably is so tiring, what more when there's ot23 events? the thought of it alone is draining to me, physically and mentally :') BUT! don't let that concern lead you to speculate unnecessarily, over-analyse relationships etc, because no matter how much you do that, you still won't know what goes on in his private life. you don't know them. we don't know what he sees online, but such comments have hurt those who relate to this, and admittedly myself as well. wouldn't it be best to just shower him with kind words? that should be the way with all members yeah? just remember to always be kind and think before you put anything out there!! not everyone is the same, it's fine if you don't personally agree with the way someone "acts" but remember that if it's part of their personality, you can't change that. if you have something to say be nice and considerate about it, they haven't done anything wrong! i tend to be very lengthy when it comes to things like this so i apologise!! whoever is reading this i hope you have a wonderful day ahead of you!! im new in the nct world, So i little bit shock when Jaemin become so quiet... and there is some hoax said he angry with jeno and renjun. it's make me little bit worried to But after wacthed so many video of him i found the fact that he is an introvert person. .. To anyone worried about him being quieter recently. He's in his element with the dreamies but recently he was pretty much always with people he doesn't know as well as the dreamies. Look at how he was helping Mark with Chenle and Haechan around. To me it just seems like he isn't forcing himself to be someone he's not unlike a lot of other idols in the indsutry are told to do. I'm extremely happy with that. Knowing how stressful and exhausting it can be as an introvert to fake energy and excitement.

I think this is the first time I saw an introverted idol not hiding his introverted side. Him being in the entertainment industry, there surely are expectations like he has to always be active and happy. It feels so refreshing to actually see someone doing the opposite of that because that is his real personality. I think people like him or Kyungsoo, for example, are the kind of idols who could survive in the real world if all of a sudden idols were no longer needed. Kyungsoo's stans get so upset when people bring up his quietness but honestly I think it's fine, it's so easy to stan people like this because I don't have to worry about them lol.

In all seriousness though, people are saying “Jaemin is so quiet lately” as an introvert myself, this is normal, yes, we see him being very loud on camera when he’s with dream, but as he’s with a load of people he may feel the need to not have to talk so much and be loud. This could just be me but sometimes with so many people it can be very draining and you just need to step back a bit, of course, there could be stuff going on in his private life but I just want to remind everyone that Jaemin can be a very quiet person as in introvert, he’s not going to be loud and hyper all the time (:

I can relate with him too. I can be loud especially when I'm with my closest friends. however, once I get quiet it means I'm just not that interested with what's happening or just tired and recharging too. my friends know that I just needed space but I'll come back to them soon. I get really exhausted being with people cos I really prefer to be alone. I'm glad that they understand my situation as an introvert, they don't overanalyze my actions unless I don't talk to them for 2 days lol.

I am so so glad I've found a video that shows Jaemin's introvertedness in a good and positive way. Most of the vid that I've found were a little sad and negative but this really makes my heart warm that many of the nctzen understand and love him the way he is. He's really just being himself.

Throughout this entire series, I was like why is Jaemin literally me? I love him so so much, as an introvert, this is what it’s like. And it’s refreshing to see an idol not force themselves to be not themselves ya know?

Fun fact: There is literally nothing to be worried about even when he's quiet and he's not a poor baby that doesn't have friends. He sure said that his members are his only friends and not even all of them but he prefers it like this and you don't have to pity him Edit: okay damn did I get likes because I came early???

Lol IKR, I'm an ambivert and I prefer to be with myself at times. It's not like I can't have more friends, it's just that I don't want to, and I hate crowds. I always keep myself away during festivities and events, because I like being alone at times. There is nothing to be pitied in this at all. I just, get withdrawn and have my moods at times. That's the introvert me. Nobody can change that.

same. I love both sides of him but I feel so close and calm when he's quiet, like he's just there minding his business and doing what he wants and he looks so relaxed when like that.

He doesn't seem off, it's been public knowledge that Jaemin is an introvert. There is a difference between "shy" and "introverted" and I think a lot of people have trouble seeing the difference in a video like this. Jaemin is introverted by nature but not afraid to socialize, he chooses (in larger groups) to let others speak instead. He kinda reminds me of a time that Mark Tuan of Got7 was asked "Why are you so shy" and he responded something along the lines "I'm not shy, I just don't ever have anything to say". In group settings introverts are just more likely to listen and laugh along and let the extroverts do their thing. It sucks because when someone is introverted but not shy people tend to mistake their silence for rudeness.

No, he’s an introvert person and doesn’t need to be energetic all the time and he is not THAT comfortable with all the nct members yet except for the dreamies of course, and don’t expect him to be hyper and happy all the times. @Lacey Prudent nctzens are a really toxic fandom, NCT basically don't need haters, fans does all the job for them, i have been part of a lot of big fandoms and i don't think i even saw a more toxic one than nctzens, i feel sorry for the members to have this kind of fandom.

I love both sides of Jaemin, his quiet and observant side, and also his crackhead and loud side. It's not Jaemin if one of them is missing. I just want him to continue being himself without having to feel pressured by fans that are overanalyzing and blowing things out of proportion. Think before you panic.

Jaemin is that friend who’s an introvert but still leaves a giant impact due to how bold and friendly he is. He isn’t quiet always, he has his loud moments when he’s in smaller groups or when he’s hyperactive. I assume it’s because he isn’t used to having 22 together, or maybe it’s not his thing just yet. Reminder he probably is still getting to know half of his members/bro’s. Lmao that’s all I have to say. And the difference between haechan and Jaemin LMAOOO :)) I love all of them.

As a 100% introvert myself (the MBTI literally said "sorry, not a single percent of extrovert aspects for you" lmao) I think Jaemin is not even that introverted. I saw a lot of people freaking out or like surprised by the way he was acting during NCT World 2.0 but I thought we all knew he was an introvert from before. I feel like the fact that jaemin decided to become a performer with a group of people already shows that he may be an introvert but probably not to an extreme on the spectrum. I mean he could've chose to do any other job but he decided to do this because he knew he's capable and enjoys it and being a famous person isn't something that extremely introverted can do or ever thinks about doing. You don't go from being outgoing to quiet like that unless something happened that changed you so drastically. And in his case it clearly eveything that comes with the price of fame. He's miserable and it shows. Him breaking down at award shows and looking like he just wants to leave whatever they're doing are just one of the many indications something else is going on.

why does it feel like i’m just watching myself 😭 i just can completely relate to him, sometimes i get annoyed when people force me to say something, or tell me i’m to quiet. being with people just overwhelms and exhausts me. and still, just like us, jaemin is still a human and it’s not a requirement for him to always say something, be hyper etc. he’s an introvert and it’s understandable.

Jaemin is an introvert, he's just being his usual self. He's close to Dream, yes. It's bc he's used to them and that small circle only. But being in a wide circle of 23 people whom you're still not close or you feel awkward with, it's really hard. Especially in Nana's case coz just like what I've said, HE'S AN INTROVERT.

Guys, if i read one more comment about him being sad, or tired, or look pathetic, or that you guys worried about him, im gonna be mad srsly 😭😭 as an introvert, that means he LOVES to be quiet, he feel uncomfortable by lots of attention, he WANTS to be quiet, he just being himself, if you guys keep leaving comments about him being quiet, he will be stressed out about being moreeeee loud and noisy, maybe he doesnt want that. Introvert, funny without trying, has a great heart…. I believe he is quite mature being a volunteer at a young age. Please check his Indonesian SM mission with Jeno. Jaemin is quite caring and inspiring… TRULY MATURE. He may be introspective but full of simple, natural humor.

And u know what? eventho he was gone for what? A year and a half? He STILL got a lot of fans who silently, patiently waiting for his comeback. I’ve to give nanadoongies (jaemin’s fandom) an award for that. (+ Funfact: jaemin fandom is one of the biggest fandom in nct) No cap. And as for now, you can see how growth turns him out really really good. He attracts fans with his heavenly smile, unlimited kindness (charitywork angel), his crazy sides, weird unbothered introvert sides, he constantly shows love and affection to czennies and his motherly vibes towards the dreamies. Now it safe to say that he’s one of the most popular member in NCT, (funfact: in South East Asia, the album sales of NCT 2020 resonance pt 1 the most popular is Taeyong (not suprised) followed by Jaemin (im suprised) with slight difference (SLIGHT DIFFERENCE Y’ALL u hear sumn) and he has the most watch solo Vlive out of NCT and he has the most retweeted birthday tweet out of every NCT member. Yep his power. Not to mention that his album version or photocard version always be the most buy and most expensive of all members and always got the most view in whatever fancam he in. Always got most liked picture either on Instagram or Twitter or Facebook. Wherever you want to put it. The fact that he’s been in the two most popular song of nct (MAW & HS) is just make this fact truer. The common of two nct hit popular song? Yes Na Jaemin. ** cheffkiss ** and i just know how nanadoongies loves what he achieve cause he deserves every single bit of it. Oh ya and he defff can put in the “he’s your bias eventho he’s not your bias” group. I really hope SM will give him a more proper and fair treatment cause he deserves it. nooo i completely understand him, i remember going on school trips and having to do all this activities was too much. i had a good time because i was with my friends and as an introvert i enjoy people doing stuff, enjoying and having a good time but once my energy runs out it runs out! the fact that the members respect that and don't bother him or get angry is really nice :)

Jaemin said one time in this program that sometimes he prefers to be alone because if there is many people he also needs to be energetic but he is just a human being and in our life there would be times that we just wanna chill and relax but it doesn't mean that he is not happy with nct, just let him rest and let us support him all the way!

I hope more people will do video of introvert jaemin... Many potray him such a loud person but if you look closely even with dreamies, he kinda showing his introvert side sometimes in v live... As an introvert myself, i understand and relate a lot with jaemin..

I think he's still not that comfortable with the other members, but he's comfortable with dreamies. -it's just my opinion tho, btw i love jaemin periodt.

It doesn't have to be that he's not comfortable with all the other members. I'm an introvert myself, even if I am in a large group with people I'm super comfortable with, it's super tiring for me. I could hang out with 10 people I love very much, but I get exhausted nevertheless. I can feel more comfortable for a longer time if I'm out with just 2 of those 10 people at the same time. I hope you get what I mean :) I assume it's just the fact that there are 22 other members and a lot of staff...I don't even wanna think about me in such a situation. So I get why Jaemin just stays at home when he doesn't have any schedules.

Thats exactly what I was thinking about he didnt accept the idea of the new members yet like during maw era he was clinging to jaehyun a lot like a confort zone since jeno and the dreamies r not there and thats exactly what i do when I am with some new ppl I lean to the closest to me

I've actually gained confidence even tho I'm highly introverted person because of Jaemin.. He's so relatable in so many things. He taught me that being myself is normal and it's ok to be different. It's ok to not gaf to what people say.

Long comment ahead, pls read to not misunderstand Jaemin. Okay, I think Jaemin is really like this. Being your introvert self is not a bad thing. Even Jaemin himself said and explained this. He said that he gets tired very easily, he is not talkative even in their dorms, and he prefers to not socialize with other people when not necessary, he shuts himself in his room after every schedule, and he usually prefers to observe. Introverts vary in how much time they need to recharge and Jaemin is clearly someone who needs a lot of time to himself. In his voice vlive yesterday, he even said he feels tired (most likely because they filmed nct23 halloween). Jaemin said that he needs to save up energy and only gives all of his energy when working on something that needs his effort and when interacting with Czennies. I'm afraid that if Jaemin finds out that Czennies thought he is unwell and say something is off, he will be forced to always show his energetic side and as an introvert just thinking that makes me tired. If he does so, it might affect him negatively; physically, socially and/or mentally/psychologically. →what I'm saying is "burnout". Also, keep in mind, introverts gets drained socially depending on how many people they have to interact with/are present within the vicinity, how close they are to these people(bcs this indicates how much effort and energy they need to exert to socialize with them), how noisy their surrounding are etc. Imagine 22 other people plus staffs and I believe he is not that close to most of them, and you need to spend the entire day socializing, playing games and being competitive with them. That would easily drain introverts especially those like Jaemin who prefers to be chill, laidback, gets tired easily, and needs lots of time by himself to regain his energy back. It's sad how being your introvert self is automatically seen and interpreted as there is something wrong or off.

I’m an introvert myself but I always try to hide that. I never had enough courage to show people that side of me. I always forced myself to do things I clearly was not comfortable with, just to not be the mood killer. But seeing Jaemin like this really made me feel at ease. It’s absolutely normal to be quiet and spend time alone. After all, only you know what is best for yourself. I bet Jaemin does too. Let’s just keep on supporting and loving him

Even though Jaemin, who was at the canter in NCT Dream, is hidden in this NCT U...That someone who's not parts of this unit is subject to jealousy and checks, and that idols who are not in this unit can alienate Jaemin from among them because of such complaints and jealous. Especially for members with strong desires.

As an introvert meself, I can relate to Nana 500%. I don’t really like being surrounded by a lot of people doing things that extroverts enjoy, but it doesn’t mean I’m not having fun. I have fun watching them, that’s it. I just feel exhausted and I can’t wait to stay in my room do things I enjoy doing by meself. I’m not pitiful nor lonely, I just stay in my comfort zone, eat my comfort food, be meself. Sometimes I go out with a friend or small groups of friends then I go back to my small peaceful private space and just be me. While some feel choked because of quarantine, here I am having the time of my life.

I relate a lot to him, it's not that I'm sad or sick or angry or tired... well, I'm ALWAYS lethargic .....I just don't do anything, I just.... it's hard to explain and I think he's that too and there are times when I have burst of energy but shortlived and prefer being idle

Sometimes with introverts, when you’re around large crowds you feel overwhelmed and tend to shut down almost, the first thought that comes to mind is “I want to go home” that’s why he’s on his phone, bc time moves faster when your distracted.

I know right... Some peoplejust cant understand it. They're idols but they're also human. The fact that i had to go to the restroom and stay there for minutes just to recharge during a party hahaha. I even need sugar just to function. It even made me resign my job because the therapist said i was too introverted for the job that i got overwhelmed.

introverts are like that, we are loud around people who we know very well bc we trust them and know that they wont misunderstand our behavior also just bc we are used to them and feel comfortable being open but when it comes to many people who we dont know well things change and we start showing the introvert side, of course there are many kinds of people with introverted personality. But i can relate to jaemin cuz hes just comfortable with his team, dream. He wasn’t even asked if he wanted to be put in a “team” with so many people in the first place. I like that he’s true and he doesn’t try to act as if he “loves” everyone.
