Emerald like diamonds are from the corundum family of hard stones, jade is rather soft and very delicate

Hi Kirsty.. The stone name… it looks exactly like malachite! When I was a child I knew African lady (her hey day would’ve been the 70’s) and her house was ‘covered’ in both malachite and ivory huge ornaments. There was a full zebra skin on the tiled floor, and full leopard ‘including claws’ over her leather poufé! .. I’d never seen anything like that here in Ireland, never forget that very striking green colour! I think Morganite, kunzite and emerald are the Beryl stones Faye was talking about 🤔 Edit to say.. I LOVE your metal board files, wouldn’t want to be without them now!✨ I have a question please, do they have zinc oxide, or ceramic particles like your purple efile sanding bands?? They don’t feel like other cheaper regular sandpaper files, and they really last a looong time.. excellent quality, as is everything I’ve got from your range 👌🏾💕

Beryl is the type of mineral composition that emerald (and others) falls into. Jade is its own mineral type. I'm my humble opinion, this looks more like a moss green opal. 😁

I would say either Jade or Italian Marble, Beryl is more translucent. But no matter what, they are Absolutely Gorgeous!!!

Looks more like amazonite or moss agate. Sorry. I have been collecting gems and minerals for over 20 years. Love the nails they are gorgeous!! If you replaced the white with black it would look similar to raw emerald. Gems and minerals facinate me!

Jade also comes in a deep green like this polish, it’s an emerald green and is the priciest. Common jade is what most of us are used to seeing, like the pale greens or the teals. My grandparents owned a jewelry store so my grandma taught me about different gemstones and jade was her favorite 😊
