I honestly think the soulfulness of Jada’s music is why she’s underrated. If Jada made music that was more popularity (pop) oriented and with catchier hooks she would sell more and be even more recognized internationalIy. I personally like her music because everything she do is hot and everything is always relatable to me as an adult woman. If Jada does what other people do and try catch people with choruses, beats, and other emotions apart from love and struggle (which she already sings about) then she would have a bigger fan base. Not to compare the two but for example Shenseea’s “Loodi” and “the best” are just full of fun and vibes. This song has more of a storytelling feel and is more about love and struggle than anything - like my fave “Yuh Betta”.
