Their marriage is allegedly an ''open'' one but he doesn't have any known former or current side-chicks, so maybe he's changed. 25+ years is a long time for personal growth to happen. Maybe I'm being too empathetic here but I believe in second chances. Their relationship is insane either way. You're right about him paying for it. Enduring Jada is karma. Edit: I was reading other comments. Some are saying Will actually has cheated on her at some point? But I can't find any sources... Notice how Jada talks about their marriage differently than Will or interviewers : she calls their relationship a " life partnership ". She also said in front of him AND her own kids, she never really wanted a marriage or believed in it. For her, this is all about the benefits she can gain from it ; maybe fame, money, recognition, empathy. Just like any partnership is supposed to be beneficial for all parties, she uses Will's feelings for her own personal gain, unless Will finally decides to properly divorce her.

    They met when Jada tried auditioning for the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air in 1992. Will was around 23, Jada around 20. I don’t know which one said it - likely Jada - but it was said when Will approached her saying “what up shorty?” in a flirting way, Jada, who was denied a role as Will’s girlfriend, rolled her eyes and said “whatever n-word, move.” So Will - after Alfonso (Carlton) found out she was gonna be on A Different World, caught a taping to talk to Jada. He ended up meeting Sheree Zampino instead and they married and had Trey. But Will said he realized he was in love with Jada and not Sheree. They became friends after Duane Martin and Tisha Campbell had them meet up unknowingly by 1994 or 95. His marriage to Sheree was already in the rocks by then.

    I'm am so sick of the bias Men hold towards other Men even when they're blatantly wrong. All of this drama boils down to one thing and one thing only: Will Smith's ego. Behind the scenes, Will and Jayda have had an agreement to share an open relationship/marraige for a very, very long time. They BOTH did their thing and were involved with other people throughout the duration of their relationship. However, Will did not want to divorce because he so desperately wanted to preserve his squeaky clean, family Man persona for the public. Unfortunately for Will, everything done in the dark eventually comes to light. Will Smith is no victim here, he was a willing participant because the facade he was trying to uphold was more important to him than simply doing the right thing and divorcing. What's even worse is this weak Man has allowed Jada to take the fall as the bad guy when they mutually decided to open the marriage. You Men really need to get a grip and stop vitcimizing/infantilizing other grown a$$ Men for the situations they willingly put themselves in. It's pathetic.

  • @rahbeeuh

    @rahbeeuh

    6 ай бұрын

    You worded this so well. I don't believe Will is a victim neither is Jada. People shouldn't be vilifying only her. But then again like Malcolm X stated, "The most disrespected person in America, is the Black woman. The most un-protected person in America is the Black woman. The most neglected person in America, is the Black woman." So of course Jada is getting the most smoke. They both were/are willing participants in their situationship. Just wish they'd (mainly Jada) remove the public from their personal chatroom

  • @pettybetty1791

    @@rahbeeuh I'm just so sick of this ongoing disingenuous Manosphere narrative where the Man is never and can never be wrong. When it appears as if a Women is being dogged out by her partner, the narrative immediately becomes "Well you should've chosen better". However, Men never seem apply this same logic to themselves or other Men. Instead, the narrative will shift to "look at this poor, helpless Man who is being victimized by this evil, wicked Woman". And yet, these same Men will preach all day long about accountability and how a Man is in control of his own decisions/destiny. I'm sick of the blatant hypocrisy. Again, Will is no victim. This is the bed he made and now that Jada is tired of keeping up the facade, he now has to lay in it.
