bro listen. don't be effected by the comments about pronunciation. Pronunciation is about accent, and we are neither French nor British. So pronounce as good as you can, but don't fret about it. It's okay. People who have a problem with pronunciation should focus on learning rather than the method of pronunciation: Mcq questions honge paper me bolna kuch ni hai.

This is the only channel which have the accurate description. Other channels treats Mirror and Imaginary stages as 2 separate stages without rectification. Hats off to your integrity sir 🙏and your lecture videos have been the life saviour for me with respect to literary criticism and theory... Keep posting more and more videos and keep up the good work. And as far as the pronunciation goes of specific names and terms, there is no need for accuracy since it is not phonetics. You know , "pateto" , "patato" .. the same thing

I've read some books where it is written that Imaginary is not the mirror stage. Mirror stage is an intermediate between imaginary and symbolic stage. Imaginary is the pre-oedipal stage , mirror stage is the stage where the child learns to see himself/herself in the mirror and thinks of it as his/her own self, but in reality it is not himself in the mirror but only an image version of him/her. He mistook the mirror image as himself/herself. Then comes the symbolic stage. If you have any answers or clarity regarding this theory you can tell me or recommend me some books where it is written that imaginary and mirror stage are the same.
