24" is the best it's long enough to fit over your head and its not too long and not too short.

What are your thoughts on a 2mm Franco for a daily solitary wear? It's so hard to tell from videos if this is too thin of a chain for everyday use, I'm wondering if you'd consider it "dainty" for a man. I'm thinking of it with or without pendant. Any help is appreciated.

It’s very small But if it is all you have then rock it proudly. I’d try to go 2.5 or 3 if at all possible

@@TheTriedTruth I have my eyes on a 2mm 23k Franco but it's an online purchase, so I don't know how small it really will be. I'm thinking I may be able to get more bang for my buck going down in carat and going bigger mm. The chain is really nice but I think I may regret not going up in mm.

Mike, I’ve asked this a while ago, but wanted to see if your opinion changed. Do you find a difference in wearing a diamond cut Franco versus a plain Franco in terms of comfort? A lot of people, including Braden state that the plain Franco is just smoother and more comfortable to wear. You’ve had so many chains your opinion means a lot. Thanks!

oh man I was in the same situation when i was buying my 3mm franco. I went with the plain version because it shines better IMO and is INSANELY smooth, super super luxurious feeling chain, I couldn't be happier with it and would never consider the D/C version. I had a DC rope before this and found that snagged on hair and clothing way too often which is never nice when you're wearing it all day everyday and plan to hand it down to your kids someday. I would without a doubt only recommend the plain version if you're in the market for a franco plus you get a couple extra grams of gold!

@@neobooger Love to hear that bro! that's the amazing thing about gold jewellery, the fact that it will last multiple lifetimes. one more thing I forgot to mention is the plain franco will always be cool and a classic whereas a diamond cut is a little more trendy and might look outdated someday. we're already seeing it with the new "prism cut" style franco. I promise you wont be disappointed or underwhelmed with a plain cut whatsoever!! wear your new franco in the best of happiness and health to you too my man!

I went for Franco. didn't seem to like it all that much in person. got a 2mm box. 15g for a 1.8. very dense. here's the thing, it seems stiff on the curvature, right at the bottom where the pendent sits. now I may want a Franco again. does the Franco do the same thing Mike? kinda get stiff where pendent sits. I almost feel like the box chain is going to bend...

Probably will be the case, the JACOJE link or heavy link or rope or round box chain may be a better option

@@TheTriedTruth okay. I thought so. I’m thinking a 3mm jacoje link actually coming back at 2.7mm on calipers. My bracelet. Chain will be for my mini crucifix. Or… a 2.7 jacoje curb. Any suggestions? Appreciate you. Or just keep this box.
