This Perone is incredible! The only think I dislike about this, which I dislike a lot, is that this is a karate competition. These flips and tricks with the swords, while very impressive, aren't to do with karate. But the performance was incredible nonetheless!!

It's sport karate. It's like a mix of martial arts and gymnastics. Doing strikes and tricks and flips with the sword.

Spyro Soar yeah I do xma which stands for xtreme martial arts and its exactly the same, its all for show and its not simulating a real fight its about making a form that looks good and is entertaining

@@bizkitjpeg I like it just fine. I appreciate high levels of accomplishment which he certainly displays, but don't confuse this with martial arts. This is acrobats and performance. He has obviously devoted hours to this kata, but one wonders how much time he has spent actually drawing his sword, fencing, or cutting. Can he display those skills at the level he backflips? Maybe he can, I don't know. But when you see martial artists spinning like this, or those who spend more time on their physiques to look like Bruce Lee, you must realize these individuals have spent more time on visual eye candy (albeit impressive) and less time on the true substance of martial arts. Please forgive my comment if it seemed a bit salty. Not my intention to offend as I was sincerely blown away by his performance, however my background is in traditional arts and there is a profound difference that should be pointed out so new students do not become confused or dazzled by impressive feats that would give them the wrong idea about the essence of martial arts.
