Its a shame that Jacob Miller's contribution to reggae is not acknowledged more than it presently is.

Is it just me or did he use his voice like a rhythm guitar? Love me some Jacob Miller. Most underrated member of the 27 club, RIP.
I'm not jamaican but Love the culture,,, give thanks
Man, I miss this guy. Honored to have the same name.
A genuine article, terrible he passed in a car accident at just 27 years old, had he made it to tour with Bob Marley, he would have became a household name, RIP Jacob, you left us too soon, maximum respect.

+nkogliaz Killa' Milla' was famous before he died, I remember I was there. He was as big as Tosh and Isaacs and Inner circle. He had respect. This was played on the radio as a favorite. RIPP

He was a Killa'...Inner Circle was famous too and they were their OWN band. Jacob was a Rastaman..He wasn't called Killa' for nothing. The radio stations played him as much as Tosh and Isaacs. Most of them played different music from Bob's..Bob went a different way, not wrong just different. Jacob and Tosh were household names to us.

Jacob rocks, I was in JA when he died in a car crash in Half Way Tree. The news shocked Jamaica. He is the Jamaican Otis Redding. RIP JM. Miss you heaps.
Still bump'n in 2019 RIL Jacob
such a charismatic person...a true love spreader!
Shame on me, I am from reggae land, love our culture. I knew of Jacob miller but never went out of my way to listen to him, now I am listening to him and cant stop, yes he on on the Mt. Rushmore of reggae. Gone too soon, he has charisma, he would have been soooooooooo hugh, myself and most other jamaicans, out of site and out of mind, this great man needs to be celebrated
Jacob and Bob passing was a tragic thing I think they would have ruled the world and made it a much better place. A roots take ova! Love you Jacob Killer miller
the voice, the voice is out of this world!!!!

music like this can spread to all ethnicity and cultures alike! im a 19 year old aerospace engineering student and my father showed me this song along with the rockers soundtrack and many more roots type reggae years ago and it forever instilled a sense of gratitude in me that human beings can create such soulful and whimsical tunes, causing you to forget all your problems. may tunes like this live on until time and space collide! peace
bigg massive biggup!!!! Jacob Miller ah true reggae legend!! Love is the religion- Rockers=Gr8 movie!!!!
this song is the soundtrack from the movie with the same name. rockers starred some of the reggae superstars of the early 80s. leroy horsemouth wallace gave a splendid performance.
This song/movie brings back memories. We chuffed up @ Laurie Hall Park then went to the Odeon Theatre to watch this movie "Rockers". A LOT of the family came & we took up 2 whole rows (back then picture theatres were huge) plus Marcia who was a baby in her pram was sitting in the aisle. Good Marsden Point "shit" back then & "cheap" made the movie even more IRIE. RASTAFARI.
Now Jacob and Gregory are rocking out together again.
Jacob is a true legend of music. Grande este señor, gracias por la calidad que dejaste

what a great song... my favorite from jacob after "all night till daylight"
jacob , the original rocker, dreadlooks flying to the air forever!
this is real good man!
Jacob simply oozes class and possessed a bubbly personality which usually evident in his catchy tunes. Don't be fooled by the up-tempo beats though, his lyrics are often quite profound. I saw him in the Rockers movie many years ago and he basically stole the show :-). What a loss to Reggae music. R.I.P Rasta
One of the best voices in reggae history.
Jacob Miller, You were a dear friend then, and I miss you, still. You will forever live our hearts.
beautiful tune! love the form with Jacob take the mic- its the same in all live performances! boss!
I've heard this song a long time ago when I used to watch Rockers. Brings back a lot of memories.

Makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end every time I watch... truly awesome.
Amazing music, the sad thing, is thatJamaica cannot go back to these glory moments...
my favourite artist of all time
what a beautiful song this is. i'm planning on going to Jamaica in march 2015 for the cricket and hope to soak up some of the magic. it's become a bit of an obsession in the last few years, what an amazingly rich cultural output they have for such a small island. where i live there's quite a sizable jamaican population too (my junior footy team was managed by a jamaican guy and nearly half the team was of jamaican origin) and they're such sound guys as well
I love his smile! Sooo authentic!!!
his voice is honey... and Lee Perry is the best producer
RIP Dennis Brown, probably my favourite singer ever!
i learnt how to play this in 1 minute ! so wicked !
Here,There,Everywhere~~~2019~~~Bless Ya All!!!!
The new generation (dancefloor,techno,metal,....) destroy the world . Fortunately there is always music to make me smile Revolution for a better world, jah bless the good persons
