Hi there! I’m so glad I found this video! From it, I gather that we have two big things in common which is a deep love and learning from Jacob Collier and also the same with Jesus Christ. I became obsessed with Jacob Collier when I first discovered him and have experienced so many of the things you’ve described and more to the max! After he ‘moved’ me to pursue music, I have given it my all but things have turned out very far from what I set out to find when full of the magical motivation I felt from him. Further more, I’ve now been battling Lyme disease since 2022 which has been even more intense than the amazing experiences I’ve gone through from his sharing his gifts.. (which seems impossible) but in the complete opposite direction. I’m not sure how much you may know of Lyme disease but it can be unbelievable rough and I have had it ‘out of this world’ bad. But through this I found my faith and I found Jesus. But now I am in a very difficult place, and I often feel like some of the beliefs of Christianity conflict with the free, pure, open, and full of love way of being that Jacob Collier has shown the world is possible (hopefully for us all, but at least for him). As I type this it does sound like I’m putting him on a pedestal I would like to note. Also, I just want to take a moment to reflect - I believe very much in God and our connectedness.. I just wonder about God watching us all right now. And we all so desperately want to share in the love we’ve felt from Jacob Collier, and for it to be free flowing and feel great and natural and to just enjoy each other as such special human beings. And I just wonder, it’s such a wonder, why can’t we? Why is there so much, so incredibly much, in the way for us? I believe God is in control, and loves us all so dearly.. and again I wonder, why do we have so so many obstacles in the way from feeling Gods love all the time? It’s such a mystery. Anyways, I feel in this moment I have so many things that I want to say and perhaps try to resolve, would you be up for a talk on the phone or something? I have yet to come across someone who has been touched both by the life of Jacob Collier and of Jesus Christ, and the presence of both in my life has left me deeply conflicted and confused for several months. Much love, and have a wonder-full day! - Alistair

Wow, you're speaking exactly about how i've been hooked about jacob collier too 😄 it's also interesting in how similar your enthusiasm feels (i notice that from the way you speak about him) which i also have felt a very similar way about him. what resonates with me the most that you touch on is, how i've started to put him on a pedestal too and idolized his expression...the way he speaks and talks about his art has drawn me in so much that it tipped on to a point where you just want to like, "consume" content from him to feel the energy he gives off (by watching talks from him or listening to music) but in the end isn't what i've developed in my own being on my own journey...so i guess what i'm trying to say is that his energy is magnetic and can draw you in, but it can also make you lost in it. So my point or insight that i've learned ever since he's come to my awareness is that i'm on my own journey and process to connect to that channel of deep intuition/creation/spirit and he's now become more of a reminder of that direction. And I enjoy seeing someone else celebrating him for that spiritual part that he embodies which other people call as genious 😁👍

Thank you so much for this beautiful reflection and I am so honored to connect with you! It truly is spirit guiding us for connection and collaboration and through Jacob we have been connected to one another as well! Yes totally get it! To me when I feel that need for consumption I take a step back and remind myself that I am instead seeking a dopamine hit in him instead of the reminder to go within like you are sharing really he is just a refection of our own remembrance! So beautiful to have these opportunities and to have cleared enough of the barriers away from love to experience such a beautiful reminder and reflection like this! I hope you continue to find other sparks of remembrance within the videos here on bME! I look forward to connecting again and until then.... Remember YOU are worth it! 🙏🏼🧡💫Ash
