@@christianquintili ACDA nationals 2023. ACDA holds conferences for directors every year, and in 2023 the Jason Max Ferdinand Singers performed. They performed "World, O World" by Jacob Collier and in the middle of the song he directed the audience.

Because music transcends words and harmonized music made by a bunch of strangers transcends the music that transcends words. It is an example of what can happen when we all lay our differences aside and take care of our fellow man. God created each of us unique and when those unique qualities are blended together in harmony, it is perfection. That is why you felt peace. God bless you sir.

People crave this kind of connection. Theres nothing like it. Being the ... voice in a whole is insanely amazing. Losing yourself within that connection and body, esp when praising God is a gift ill carry in me forever. This... choir has that same essence. It transcends words

I found this video by sheer chance and how uplifting it has been! As a choral music lover, I thought I'd a thorough list of Choral "likes" but this is on another positive level. Very simple but oh so powerful! Superb !!!!!

It’s magnificent beyond words. I was at the kitchen sink, and at some point realized I had stopped moving, closed my eyes, and water was running running running everywhere. But I was transported … elsewhere. It was heavenly, in so many ways. I played for my week old chicks … amazing.❤

His audience is quite special, Jacob is a great director and we will be always amazed by his music. I think the world is not ready to understand him, most of the world listen to crappy music. The gap is big. But we are glad to take parts at these concerts. Thank you Jacob.

Just occurred to me he's an epic community choir conductor, he really rallies up tremendous motivation in his mostly pro musician audiences. He's a better conductor on stage than he is a musician overall.
