I enjoyed the Settes it’s the tempo of the music that’s a little too fast for me. They kept it together. After 4 weeks these ladies are in the right direction. LaNeia will do great things with them.

The kicks in the jsette routine! I love the way they have intricate arms and very clever moves throughout the dance. However I DO feel that tempo is everything. Some routines have to be examined from the tempo standpoint. The fact that jsettes ate that coming out the gate really blows my mind. It’s everything to know they know every move with intention going at that tempo. But as a group and band even director wise, you have to look at a routine and dissect it bcz they should be able to eat the dance without seeing that their moves go fast bcz the tempo is fast. Showmanship is everything in this video tho! And I can’t do anything he see yal wearing bcz yal ate that at that tempo!!!! Personality I would have slow it down maybe 4 / 5 tenths. Man I love the boom

Ok you explained my thoughts precisely. It’s seemed like the band tapped the song off a little too fast. I was just happy that the girls kept it together 😂. You can could kinda tell they they were focused on not being out of Sync with the music.

You told the truth! The Jsettes did not have the same energy from the beginning to the end. Some squad members are dancing at at different tempo. They must work on looking like a total squad and not individuals.

Boom dance drill looks🤔🧐 very familiar that i ve seen a visiting band do @ The Vet last year and a couple years before that those same dance moves that same visiting band did 🤫It aint no Biggy tho .Some Bands do copy some dance moves and add too theirs ..Anyways good job Boom..Way too start the season..

You simply are uninformed

With JSU, they never do a full dance routine, nor does the whole band participate in a routine. They send 5 people out or have people that are not even in the band come out and do a routine. If they do the routine is short, just like this one. The drum section stays on the side line or side. Neither the tubas nor drum section know how to perform a dance routine.

Apparently band has limited amount of people that can dance and play at the same time, but want praise.... when they stand in one place ....and try to blow their brains out though a horn...looking like a Puffer Fish.

That performance by the Dolls and the Temptations (Drum Majors) wasn't it. I need this band to finally learn how to dance and play at the same time and stop doing those high school dance routines. There has to be some balance here, it's not always about playing loud. I coukdnr hear the woodwinds through out the performance because the brass over powered them. Those of you who don't know any better will disagree or be bias.
