The LiquidLogic RMX Whitewater Kayak is a modern re-imagining of one of the best selling designs of all time! Borrowing modern elements from the Alpha, while keeping true to the ease and versatility of the Remix, the RMX is sure to be a modern classic!
Featuring a modern bow profile, a forgiving and responsive edge design, and a tapered stern that make the RMX a very approachable yet high-performance hull design. The high-rise bow is borrowed from the Alpha, allowing the RMX to rise up and over larger features and skip out of drops. The volume distribution in the stern makes for ample secondary stability, while the scooped tail still allows you to boof on edge easily to assist in keeping the bow up on more vertical drops.
Classic speed and performance, with a modern feel
High-Rise bow rocker helps skip out of drops
Full length edge profile and wide chines for performance and stability
Scooped stern to help keep the bow up on vertical drops
BadAss outfitting keeps you comfortable and safe

I thought they’d be very similar, but after this walkthrough, they appear quite unique from each other.

Very different concepts on these that’s for sure and both are good in their own way
Awesome video Wade! I would love to see you compare this to the Code as well.

Will see if can get that one
The remix has the scooped stern too, they just gave the remix a fish tail and edges. Finally, LL learned how to make edges!!

Exactly!
I like how they narrowed up the front end vs the Gnarvana it looks like a Z3 front

Yeah completely different concepts between these 2
Now your just teasing Wade! 😂 Three videos before the paddle! Paddling the large Gnar tomorrow for first time. But I really want to try this boat before I make a decision. I’ve heard people say it’s going to be squirrly and they haven’t paddled it yet either.

The RMX is as big as their Alpha Creek boat (75/90) It's not at all comparable to the boat it was. I can't imagine anyone who paddles the 59 or 69 (even the 79 is smaller) would want to get into a boat that big! The beauty of the old Remix was it's size and ease of portage. Maybe this is better for bigger waters, but the vast majority of recreational whitewater baters are 2-4 level boaters. That's was the Remix's market. This model goes outside that demographic.

@@cheskybaba4864 definitely agree! I’m going on my second season paddling white water here in Minnesota I’ve paddled 2-3 in my remix xp9 I do love it I didn’t know I’d fall in love with whitewater but my XP9 handles everything amazingly well! I’m 5’11” and 145 pounds so I get a good work out carrying my boat 🤣 but maybe sometime In the future I’ll add a second boat and go with the 59 remix !
Thanks for the vid. What was the thigh indexing like on the RMX? Was it high but super narrow like the Alpha?
@WadeHarrison
