I didn't know it was about a girlfriend who committed suicide. I just thought as a twenty something she left Brown. It gave me comfort when my love left forever.

It was the suicide of his wife and they had 6 month old son.

If you pur Bilk Stonebreaker and Bob Coy together you get Jackson Browne.

He had morphed into Robert E Lee.....very nice too.!

My husband committed suicide 3 weeks after we were married. So this song resonates with me.
