Greetings again from Torrance! We can tell when its getting cold in the south bay because our cat keeps snuggling up to my wife when we sleep. Enough of the weather, I do remember first meeting you and Jasmin and having an awesome conversation with John. What you didn't know (maybe you did) that used to be "John's corner" There was a bank of old machines that my mother loved to play at. There was one time she played there for about an hour on just 20 bucks. You do kinda think like me about having fun with this game and not taking it too seriously. I remember telling John that this has to be fun. I have enough stress at work so video poker is a great stress reliever. I'm also one of those idiots that jump up and down when I hit a Royal, not because I became rich, its because I hit a well earned goal(plus it embarrasses my wife) Thanks again!

I kind of remembered he liked that corner. He liked that one machine with the button that didn’t work well. Totally agree that this needs to be fun and relaxing. If not, I need to find another hobby that isn’t so expensive. And Royals is a reward worth jumping up and down for 😊 Have a great week Paul!!

Oh come on Jiro... you're not gonna play one more hand to end at $50? 🤣 That phrase you mentioned at the beginning was probably me, because I think there's a bit of over-obsessing when it comes to paytables. Do I wanna drive 90 minutes to play 8/5 instead of 7/5 bonus that's 3 minutes away? Not me. But I guess if you had a few grand to play, then maybe. That 10/8 "Bonus" Poker you talked about is becoming popular, but it's a 94.1% game. That blows. That's the version of Bonus my local has, too. I'm surprised Harrahs's allows an 8/5 Jacks on the floor with that 10/8 Bonus version. Enjoy it while you can. Anyways, thanks for the video. 😎

Highly possible it was you with the pay table saying during Becky’s live stream. I just recall the phrase that makes so much sense. Re: Bonus Poker pay - Luckily we have Pala casino up the street, and through the canyon pass is Pechanga still has many proper 8/5, although they snuck in 175 all quad pay on the new BP machines this past year.

If you do go to Harrah’s don’t play the Bonus Poker. They have that modified pay that doesn’t pay you 10 credits for 2 pairs. It’s why Jacks was a better value to grind on. They have 2 sections for vp kind of tucked to the sides

8/5 job is a terrible paytable. The best way to grind out wins is to find a better casino. Its not worth playing video poker there with 4x the house vp edge.
