Jackks Pacific Colossal TMNT Leonardo Makeover- Chris' Custom Collectables!
Ғылым және технология
Happy Thursday, Geeks! Today we'll be pimping out the Jakks Pacific Giant Leonardo figure!
This fella is for sale on my ETSY store but I'll have to keep the selling point within Sydney due to his size.
Enjoy!

Superboiii sanchez I agree but he was trying to make it most like teenage mutant ninja turtles (1990) with the Jim Henson suits but he could have made the eyes closer to that movie
Love that Leonardo! Wish I had room for one in my house. :D And your makeover is absolutely incredible! Well done!
Over all it is really good, but the face looks very creepy
Yeah! Don't get me wrong Chris, I absolutely love your current Red Hood cosplay, and I can't wait until it's done, but it's great to see another Custom Collectible after a couple months!!
I really liked what you did. But nothing you do can fix that damn smile he has.
The face kinda felt unfinished wish you went for more of a comic sort of Leo but still amazing work!
the main reason why i love this channel is the Custom Collectables.. please keep these comming!!!
A tip for the future when doing fake blades with aluminum bars, sand the whole thing in one direction (or polish) and then do a strip of sanding in a different direction along the edge. It does such a great job of giving the illusion of a sharp edge that people will be afraid to touch it.
That was an epic makeover! Love your style, man.
Amazing dude! Your final work always look awesome!
He looks incredible. Great job Chris. I can't believe how tall he is, probably explains the hefty price to go with him. I wish I had him and the others if Jakks make them.
Love this video. You inspired me to start customizing and just finished my first Halo figure.
Very professional Chris. Love your customising
Wow end result is awesome. Will use the shoe polish idea on my 3d printing models.
Absolutely LOVE these custom collectibles videos!
You have an awesome mind. And I'm not taking anything away from the hard work you've obviously put in to learning and honing your craft. But, damn, my brain just doesn't work this way. I wish it did. My collection would be insane.
Awesome work as always. You should do a black and white rendition with a red bandana like in the original comics. Would look really cool, especially with the black highlights.
So good to hear a youtuber talking about our local shops. Big w, & spotlight.
I really like your makeover videos! Results are amazing!
2000s tmnt show was so good

Jack A if you mean the 2003 one from mirage, yeah that is probably my favourite show of all time

Jack A That show is so goddamn underrated. Easily the best TMNT cartoon. Sometimes I really hate how successful the original series was as everything just seems to pander to that version while the 2003 show just fades into obscurity. Hopefully it gets a full DVD release like it deserves in the near future.

SlothGiraffe that show was the best incarnation of the turtles it was a good blend between the grittiness of the comics and the fun of the original cartoon

Blüdhaven Comics/reviews It was amazing! It's the first TMNT TV show I've ever watched and it's still my favorite incarnation of the characters. I love everything about that show.
this is beautiful man thanks for sharing and great job
Great job!! Looks really awesome!!!!

what is your profile picture it's pretty cool?
You done did it now!!!! awesome work
So glad you did this cause it's something I always wanted to do with these figures .
damn good! only thing i'd do would be paint over the eyes, leave them all blank like they do on the show any time they are in battle mode. But my god, just priceless to see your work.
Cosplay Chris, Thank you! I love all your videos and I have a big smile on my face when I receive the notification to say you've uploaded a new video 😁 p.s I would love to meet you one day!! Alex from the UK
Nice work!👍🏼 I also knew you lived in Australia but not Sydney. I literally live on the central coast like 1 hour away from Sydney!
Rip Chris's airbrush. He will be remembered
Hockey tape might've looked better around the hands, still looks great though.
It's a shame you can't buy them like this it looks so much better!
Awesome job! I wonder how athletic tape would have looked on the finger wraps.
Today were gonna be pimping out Leonardo Decaprio.
Looks SO cool keep up the good work 👍🏻
I kinda wish you had done more weathering on the bandana and the head in general and maybe changed his expression somehow. Otherwise I really like how the body came out despite the blocky canvas you had to work around. I really dig how you changed up the knee and elbow pads.
Bro!!! Epic!
Dude you did an amazing job!!
I thought you'd give him his original red bandana as you were making him gritty. Nice work!
looks awesome! Great work
"Sticking like shit on a blanket." Haha I've never heard that before but I like it.
That looks amazing. I would have painted over the eyes and changed them a lil so they look more menacing since you made him look grittier
Amazing work!
The huge ankles of this turtle version always turned me off but you were able to make it look nice. Impressive!
I gave this video a like just because of the thumbnail. It looks like you took it from boring to awesome and gritty.
Fantastic job as always Chris
Awesome custom collectable chris
I love your vids Chris. Keep up the good work !
Jesus Chris, this is outstanding!!!
Nice paint job
Hey cosplay Chris big fan here! I love your videos, you inspired me to do a lot so I just have to say you are my heroe! Tank you for every thing!
Hey Chris, I love your videos and they have inspired me to make my own custom figures. If you read this can you start putting the list of stuff you use in the description, this will really help out the people new to customizing figures. Thank you and keep at it!!
Now that is just amazing!
I live fot these types of videos! Really amazing job
Killer build. If you go back to redo the bandana, I would redo his eyes. They just look kind of funky. A little paint and you could make his look much more menacing.
Your awesome at what u do Mr. Chris
wooooooow great job! love it!
he looks awesome good job Chris
WOW, great job!
He's amazing very nice job sir
Congrats on 200k, mate. Although, you deserve much, much more!
I'd put cameras in his eyes and set him by the front door. Very cool, Chris!
Shell turned out great. i gotta get me some brown shoe polish.
chris ur too obsessed with weathering !! lol love the channel so much mate!
Bad ass... As always. Great work, dude.
you did an amazing job and leo is my favorite character you impressed me
Since Leo is a ninja, he has a Ninjato (straight blade) and not a Katana (curved blade). So, the toy had it wrong and you did him a great service! Awesome work!
Nice job making that sewer themed stand for it... oh wait, that's your pool.
I picked up Leo and Mikey at the Target I work at for 25 American dollars each on clearance. Great figures.
wow, I follow your videos for the Star Wars modifications, but this one you WON my respects...
That looks ssssssooooooo cool you did a good job chris
Congrats on 200k Chris
That looks great!
Awesome video every time i go to toys r us i see the Leonardo
cool. you took a clean statute, and made it look dirty and moldy. nice.
Now you got to do all of them
200k! Congrats Chris!
Damn looks great as always 💯
Its a testament to your skill that you took a cartoonish figure from a Nickelodeon show and made it look badass!!
damn chris, you never fail to amaze
How leo looks reminds me of how the show made him look when the turtles had to go the April’s family farm
fantastic mate. was looking forward to this vid from seein the IG pics :D ... think you might custom make the whole team if you could ?
Turned out great
It looks incredible but the smile.
I purchased one of these last Christmas for my nephew... I wonder if he will let me do this to his for him. Haha
I just got Michelangelo for 10$ from a thrift store! And both nunchaku were included!
Next up, do a custom job on that huge Legend of Zelda Link figure thats out there. That could be a fun rebuild!
Amazing as always
Chris bro that looks amazing
wow he looks good and more realistic
Hey man it looks awesome! I think you should redo the eye deco.
amazing vídeo thanks Chris hugs
Wow fair play that was badass
I think you could add some custom eyes. All that gritty apareance's gone with that derpy stare lol
que buen trabajo man, acá en México city, no venden ese modelo de tortuga tan grande, pero lo voy a intentar con las de 12".
Yes I realize this is 4 years old, but you mentioned using dirt, like straight from outside, damp dirt to be exact, so how is it holding up? I'm curious since dirt contains life and can grow mold, as I didn't hear anything about baking it first, are my fears of using straight dirt unfounded? It's safe?
My local Toys R Us "U.S.A" had one with the right arm broken off as well, they'd only knock it off to $110.
Holy shit @Chris! did you get this from Mac Centre Big W? My kid broke that Leo! haha, glad you got a good deal! Small world haha

Could have used athletic tape on the fingers
you know what could be cool is to paint it up to look like the original black and white version also one way to age metal is with a oxidising agent like liver of sulfur (jewlery makers use it to make pieces look older than they are
