I did not know that the Ebbets Field apartments became the first ballpark from 1913 to the 1960s. Wow! So rare.

Lived in NY for 10 years and never got over to this spot - thanks so much for putting this together. A bittersweet experience, really wish that Ebbets still stood.

BOWMAN53 I think most people feel that way brother, I remember hearing a quote from back in the day saying "If the Roman Colloseum is still standing why not Ebbetts Field"

tony gilbert GDs have been in NYC since the late 90’s there is not alot of them but they are there. I have family in carnarsi brownsville and crown heights i can tell you they are there

I know the video was posted a year ago but as a Los Angeles Dodger fan awesome video dude even though it reminds me when I was a kid I didn't even notice the Dodgers were from Brooklyn I thought the letter B on the hat means Boston I thought there were the Boston Dodgers for a second thought but still man it's a good video I wish I could have seen the stadium in person before he tore down sadly I'll never get a chance to I'm hoping that there's something that is from the ballpark is still around to this day at least one thing

Robinson also lived in Bedford-Stuyvesant too at 407 Stuyvesant Street for a short few months when he first arrived to Brooklyn and that block was renamed in his honor in 2018. Any chance you could add a Pt 4 to your tour in the near future?
