Hi South Africa is in the house ☺️ great topic to unpack in our generation that is always busy … a praying person is a productive person (in the context of servanthood) a praying servant it’s hardly that you find them making fleshy decisions as the spirit is always aligned with Jesus…. May we continue to pray without ceasing and in all read the word of God that we may not ask amiss … Jackie’s spiritual growth inspires me every time I listen to her, thank you ladies for a relevant topic.

I loved this! This touched base on a couple different topics that I have been having doubts about, second guesses, concerns & inner turmoil when it comes to my walk with God. I loved the multiple perspectives. I loved how you guys greatly expressed God's unconditional love over our diversities. The desire to be perfect can take over in an unhealthy way to where we constantly compare ourselves to others individual journeys with the Lord or to where we are constantly at guilt & shame for not feeling good enough in prayer, in our walk, or for the Lord. COME AS YOU ARE! he says! he knows us more than we know ourselves. We forget that! He sent his one & only begotten son & his son chose to die for us! The love he has for us, can never be topped. I pray for healing, understanding, & peace in all of our individual relationships with the Lord! I love you but Jesus loves you more!

This group conversation has really blessed me & given me another perspective on my prayer journal & my relationship with the father. The topic, the testimony's & the Scriptures shared has given me another level of assurance in prayer, no matter how short or how long but to be intentional, be personal, Be consistence, be persistence and most of all JUS BE ME! in having a relationship with the Father. Even in the moment of listen to this podcast -- this has taught me to listen for his voice & be able to discern his voice from all of the other daily chaos. There is no PERFECT time to PRAY but to just be connected to him & stay engaged with him. No matter what time of day you Pray -- "He is always there"

Lord I know you have a purpose for me. Even though at times I do not understand. I have complete trust in you. Heavenly Father. Being a single mom with two children with special needs is overwhelming at times. Every month is a struggle to get by. But as I struggle to pay rent and as I struggle to buy groceries for my children. I keep faith. Faith is all I have left. I WILL NEVER STOP TRUSTING THE LORD. God give me strength.💕❤️

I’ve been praying for along time and yet I feel I still don’t know how. Is there a right or proper way to pray and is it I guess ok to get my Bible and read/ pray scripture to God. Thank you women of God for sharing this is the kind of fellowship we need

This was good! I connected with everyone mentioning their different versions of how they were taught it pray, but also how they pray presently. At first I was proud and hoping God was pleased with me setting a set time specifically for God and keeping it. Maintaining that felt great. However I started to realize that after a while it became a check list and my motives and what I prayed for (sometimes still prayer for) changed. All this to say that now when I’m doing my devotional with Jesus, it’s when I’m exercising, walking and listening to a word or two like KZread (like this one) and then with continue in silence or play one of my devotional that are saved (when spirit of God leads). This is the new way and I’m appreciative of it. Thank you all for sharing. 🤍🤍🤍🤍

I really love this discussion . It let everyone know how Awesome God is. Every one of these ladies had their own way of how they build their relationship with God and how they learned to pray. Praying scriptures is praying his word. God will is his word ,so when you pray his word you cannot go wrong. It teaches us the word and helps us to trust his word . Praying builds a relationship with God.😇❤️🙌

I don't think we should make fun of other who pray through using a "dj" voice. I have found that there are those who get a prayer through who have learned to pray that way and others who get a prayer through who pray more conversational. I think God assesses the heart, not the outward. I have done both but was completely sincere in each. I just don’t want people to think if they grew up praying that way that something is wrong with that. Blessings.

Oh I’m surprised this popped up on my list. I stopped watching Jackie Hill Video because she said she only holds conferences for “black” women. I’m shocked to see white women on her video. Sad because God never see color! That’s a human thing. I pray God helps her to see that. Because she talks about “racism” but does she know excluding other women of different race is “racism”? Just asking…
