Jackie is the creator of the current cross at Placita Olvera, making him the 3rd one in history. Over time, weather and erosion requires a newly commissioned art work. Mr. Jackie Hadnot installed the new cross on Saturday, April 15, 2017 during the Blessing of the Animals celebration. Creating all his pieces totally by hand, he still surpasses time-frames set with machinery.
